One of the best guesthouses I stayed at.

A must stay, very comfortable, and amazing hosts. If you're in the region, it's a must visit.

Perfect place to stay, best one in region. Very friendly snd attantive owners. Very tasty and abundant breakfast. And a view from the house is best one. It is in Yeghegis village, not in Horbategh.

We were immediately welcomed into our hosts home and treated as part of the family. Our hosts genuinely cared that our stay was the best it possibly could be. The home made meals were delicious, local wine was served, and the conversation with Narine, our multi lingual host was superb.

Our two kids bonded with their daughter and we were able to leave them at home while my wife and I went exploring the local sights around Yeghegis.

The Jewish Cemetery is located at the edge of their property. Zorats Church is a nice 30 minute walk away through the interesting old village of Yeghegis, and Smbataberd Fortress is an energizing hour s walk away. From there you can look down on Tsakhatskar Monastery or add another hour to the walk to visit it.

For a very reasonable charge, our hosts also drove us to other local sights such as Arates Vank.

It is a beautiful, peaceful property located right on the Yeghegis river. Our brand new solar powered sustainable little cottage was perfect for our family of four.

We have stayed in some wonderful homestays in Armenia (they are all good), but this definitely earns the Gold medal.
