Sakit Gol - Silent Lake Hotel in Samaxi

There is no any service, old and disgusting rooms. Stuff is awful. Stupid rules. Hotel management is under all service lines. It’s not possible to find something eat and drink in the midnight. A lot of stupir rules they have. Rooms are very old and noise, beds are not comfortable.

We could fish there and that part was nice, the guy renting the equipment was helpful. But the rest was really bad. Breakfast was just okish, and dinner in their restaurant was not good at all+ expensive. Room was in poor condition, the shower didn’t work, nobody fixed it, and towels were old and tearing apart. It definitely doesn't worth the money.

❌ Negative Review Unfortunately, our stay at “Sakit Göl” Şamaxı was very disappointing. • The rooms were far from the advertised standard: the furniture was old, cleaning was superficial, and the bathroom lacked even basic amenities. • The restaurant was a big letdown — very limited food options, average quality, and extremely slow service. • The territory itself is beautiful but poorly maintained: paths are not well lit and there is quite a lot of litter. • The price does not match the level of service at all. Overall, the hotel gave the impression of being completely different from what is promised in its advertisements. Definitely not a place we would want to return to.

Nature is great, overall very quiet and beautiful place. Wi-Fi is great! The only service I fancy was housekeeping, cleaning. Reception is not friendly, no smiles, no warm greetings. That is not a service provided by 5 star hotel. We asked for payment receipt, but never received one. Breakfast is not a buffet. When I asked for coffee they offered me paid options which is weard, usually coffee always included into breakfast like tea. Also no options for people who doesn't eat white bread. We asked for complimentary water, reception replied that for 2 people housekeeping put 2 bottles and that's all. During my stay I had a feeling that I'm indebted to this property, they were doing me a favour OMG. That is not a proper attitude to the guest. I will never stay in that place again and will not reccoment it anyone.

We first stayed here back in 2017 in summer and I couldn’t commend the hotel enough. At the time we stayed in the cottages which were beautiful by the lake side “Silent Lake” This time “for Valentines day” all of the cottages were booked so we opted for a “Luxury“ Hotel room, which I have to say was really disappointing. It was just really dated and needed some money spent. Wallpaper hanging off the wall, fake beams falling off the ceiling, poor quality MDF swollen due to water ingress and electrical cable isolation perished (Photos attached) Restaurant issues, only one of the evening waiters seemed to have any clue (Babash) the others just seemed to stand around and have no concept of a waiters role. (We often had to speak to 3 different waiters just to put a food order in) Breakfast issues, first day “no issue” but the second day when we asked for exactly the same “Coffee & Orange Juice” we were told this was extra cost, I explained we had exactly the same the prior day without any mention of cost, but he wouldn’t budge, this was embarrassing in a busy restaurant. For some reason they’ve also decided to add a kids animal corner which is presently covered in plastic sheets and is full of condensation, so you can barely see the anomals. It just looks really tacky & poor quality. All in all it was really disappointing visit and I very much doubt we’d return “unless it was refurbished and hotel staff improved” and certainly would no longer recommend it to friends as we had many times prior.
