Krone Hotel in Baku

here's some insights and comments ive compiled during my one week stay here as a foreigner>>

1. atmosphere is really great. interior design was done visually good as well as the building itself. bathroom features' also great but the room, some concerns were present such as TVs are hung on the wall but cannot be used due to short cord/wire.
2. cleanliness of the room is mediocre; my most concern was the kettle & glasses provided in the room, it was dirty (sticky inside and has brown residue).
3. room service was quite hard due to language barrier.
4. room signs aren't provided or present in the door (whether this is a foreign culture or not, it must be provided since personal belongings are present as well as valuables of the guest/s). in my experience, my room was cleaned daily (which i appreciate the concern and effort) but, i was not notified if my room was being cleaned and left my personal belongings cluttered. some of my belongings was sadly thrown out as they assume it was trash. still, guests must be notified if their room will be cleaned / at least have a room sign.
5. guests best believe that there will be a buffet (or at least variety of dishes) served during breakfast but it wasnt what as expected. dining area was empty and only available things to choose are bread and sweets. we were served same breakfast daily containing (i assume) thejr breakfast which were cheese, an egg, pieces of fruits, and cold vegetables. my concern was not all guests will eat this type of food as there is no variation and some might have allergy. i suggest to at least create different dishes to served for the guests or take requests from them.
6. on the other hand, ordered food service from their restaurant was priced reasonably and very good in terms of taste and food visuals. loved it very much as theyre local foods.
7. the view was not was i expected due to a construction site blocking both windows ive booked.

note 1: regarding the thrown out personal belonging, i just let it pass as it is not a major concern and i believe it will just create a cause when talked with the management due to language barrier.

note 2: ive tried making different requests for the breakfast menu but they really failed to understand what i meant or most of the time, they dont have available ingredients so i just appreciately ate what theyve provided which i am now used to.

No restaurant or bar availability in the evening.
The hotel itself is excellent, but the surrounding housing is very poor.
Lift door safety sensor not working, my arm was trapped for several seconds until two of us pulled the door open.
Good breakfast, but late at 8am.
Spacious room, good WiFi.
Staff excellent, friendly and helpful.
