Steigenberger Makadi in Hurghada

We had such a lovely holiday at Steigenberger Makadi in Hurghada. The hotel was perfectly clean, in a beautiful location, and had such a peaceful, chilled atmosphere throughout. The staff were incredible and always so helpful — they really couldn’t do enough for us. The food was great, especially the desserts, and we loved the really nice seating areas around the hotel. A special thank you to Ivy for her amazing massages — they were incredible. My wife and I each booked five massages during the week, and they were absolutely worth it. The spa is definitely a must-visit, especially for the massages. We had such a good time and will definitely be back.

Just returned from another great holiday at this hotel, we have been many times and it never disappoints. From the moment we arrive we feel at home, and are treated as "family". The staff are amazing, from the reception, to the restaurants, around pool area, the room attendants and even the garden staff, nothing is too much trouble and they are always happy and smiling. It would be unfair to mention anyone individually, they are all great. The food in all the restaurants -buffet style and a-la-carte is excellent and varied, even for long stays. There is an assortment of evening entertainment in the Bogie bar, which is good but very loud and sometimes hinders conversation, so we prefer a quiet drink in the reception area providing we can find some chairs. The Golf course is excellent, very interesting and is in great condition . There is a huge variety of challenging holes including water hazards. The management and staff are very helpful and help make it a great experience. There is a beach area available which is a short shuttle bus ride but we preferred to stay around the pool. Lunch at the Pool Bar is excellent with a very extensive menu. Needless to say we shall be returning very soon to our second home. Big thank you to all the staff.

We stayed for a winter break and found it to be perfect for the relaxing recuperative break we needed. The staff we excellent and always attentive if we wanted anything, and the quality and choice of food was exceptional.

Hotel is small but provides for a much more personal touch. Rooms are big, very well appointed and everything works well. If you are looking for peace, quiet and a relaxing holiday in a great hotel with extremely good service and excellent food by possibly the best chefs in Egypt, look no further I don't think you'll find better. It is geared up more for the mature guests so definately not for everyone. Approx 40 min transfer time from airport, 20 min slow stroll to beach or 5 minute by hotel free shuttle bus service. Its our 3rd 3 week stay and won't be the last. A lot of staff still here which shows they enjoy working here and most guests are returning guests which speaks for itself. Management are very professional but still frequently engage in a bit of banter which is nice to see as are most of the staff. The whole of the bay is a gated complex so very safe to walk around with almost no hassle. The sea is very shallow and not really suitable for snorkeling other than beginners. The hotel boasts an excellent golf course and facilities. Thank you to all staff for another great holiday experience

This place provides the real meaning of quality over price, you will get use of every penny you're spending in terms of service, cleanness, food, landscape, pool, with extra personal touch.
I really enjoyed my vacation in there. And I want to thank whe whole team for being very nice and friendly.

This was our 4th visit to this hotel in 2 years, it is amazing, we feel like we’re coming to see friends and have made some wonderful friends among the staff here. The hotel is small and low key and the service from all the staff is second to none.
We came this time to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday, the staff helped me by decorating a table for us in the restaurant and he had a cake too.
I can’t recommend this hotel enough, the first time we came, we booked again within a week of getting home.
We will be back again soon xxx

Overall it was a very nice stay for 1 week. Especially when you like golf. The golf course is very well designed and the region surpassingly does not feel to hot because you have some nice wind here.

The only star u would left behind comes from the way to the beach. The location of the hotel is very unique and you need around 20-30 mins walk to the beach. BUT you can always take a bus which drives every hour to and back from the beach. Overall a very recommended hotel! 🤩

A cozy hotel. We stayed with my sister and felt good because the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff always asked if everything was okay, chatted pleasantly, and were helpful. Our room cleaners were also pleasant, the room was always clean. What I liked most about the pool was the work of the waiter Osman and the pool attendant, these employees were especially pleasant and friendly. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its staff! I hope the staff is properly compensated for their great work.
Our room was large, with a view of the golf courses, so it was very quiet.

I went there on my honey moon the experience was beyond amazing , the staff was super professional and friendly The offered us many things as gifts and complimentary stuff The executive sweet , food , beach and pool were all amazing The sweet had a jacuzzi and private pool and all the experience exceeded my expectations The sweet was very clean and room service was great also The bar also was excellent and drinks were awesome And i would like to thank personally Mr Ayman ElMassry and Mr Ramy Radwan They were very friendly and professional we felt at home
