This was my second stay at this resort in Hurghada, and once again I really enjoyed it. The location right on the Red Sea is excellent, with a beautiful beach and great snorkeling/diving opportunities going right from the hotel. The resort is clean, well maintained, and very relaxing. A big improvement compared to my previous visit is the food — the quality and variety were noticeably better this time, especially at dinner. Rooms are comfortable, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. Overall, I would happily return again.

Just returned from a week at king tut family holiday. Bad points There Customer Service skills need to massive improvement at reception and restaurant manager. They didnt go to the manners school. Perhaps it is there way. The exterior could do with a tidy up. The evening food tin main restaurant we didnt find much we liked but could just be us. It's a shame they dont have seating at the top in the sun. Pools could do with being heated at least the baby pool. I wouldn't want to go in height of season as I think you would struggle to find sun beds. Balconies the gaps in railings are quite large and a small child could quite easily squeeze through. Good points The rooms clean tidy adequate for what you need. The other staff are friendly and helpful. The beach is ideal for children and adults as is quite shallow for a long way out and some nice fish to snorkel with. But there's not lots of room we went november. The breakfast is nice and lunch at the bottom restaurant is also nice. Taxi staff really helpful. Recommend the marina and if eating out meat and wood was delicious. Weather is amazing and sea temperature warm. We did the boat trip which is good. If you do the glass bottom take snacks and drinks with you as fortunes on there. The hotel is not 5 star more 3 but for what you pay is good value and has all you want there

It's my third time in king tut resorts❤️I enjoyed the beach & the sea ,nice view & very clean area,very good & toasty food in the main restaurant & beach restaurant,& the staff were so polite & friendly with us, special thanks to the animation team for there hard work & activities at the beach we enjoyed the evening shows specially the fire & fakir & oriental show, recommended

Excellent hotel and service staff. Couldn't do enough when my husband was admitted to Intensive care. Extended my stay very helpfully and smoothly, checked we had eaten before and after hospital visits. Very high standards throughout. Forever grateful. Highly recommend with great facilities.

What can I say, awful! The reception has an awful smell. There is a leak in the ceiling with a bucket underneath! We paid for a side sea room. We had a main road view. With the joy of beeping traffic and howling dogs all night! Made worse that you couldn’t shut the window as the handle was broken. Bird poo over the window. The window seal was disgustingly dirty, there was a hole looking into the room beneath us. The bathroom door handle was broken so you couldn’t shut the door. The hairdryer was hanging off the wall. Smelt of burning when you used it! So I didnt. You only had 1 bottle of water allowance to your room a day! There were 3 of us! The fridge didn’t work. The fire alarm was hanging off the ceiling. The lights in the bathroom didn’t work. The food was awful, same slop every night. You had to Que every night for food and to find a table. There was not any variety in the food at all. This was not an all inclusive resort, cocktails were extra. Drinks on the beach were extra. Ice cream extra charge. Shows in the evening you had to pay for! If you had a beach day you would be hounded all day by reps trying to get you on excursions or have massages. The aqua park is not an aqua park it is two slides with a tiny bit of water at the other end of the resort. The staff are not very friendly. On our last day our flight was at 7.40, transfer was at 4.40. Check out 12. When you check out they cut your wrist band off and you’re done!! No access to what little they have, no drinks No food Nothing. You just sit in reception. We luckily managed to change our transfer to 1oclock! So we got out the hotel we were then sat in the airport from 1.30 onwards u til our flight!

That’s not the first time when my friends and I visit this hotel. It seems to be a nice place for everyone who prefers to spend his time calmly without any foot dragging and bustling. In case you’re interested in any extra activities one can purchase them from your guide or local merchants.

We stayed in Egypt for 15 days in July 2023, visiting several hotels, and I can say for sure: nothing compares to the experience we had at King Tut Resort in Hurghada. I was truly enchanted by this place! Compared to the chaos in other regions, this resort was a pleasant surprise — peaceful, clean, and well-organized.
The hotel delivered what it promised, especially considering the fair price. The areas by the pool and beach are great, with plenty of sun loungers (some already in need of replacement). Everything was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and varied entertainment every day. Internet is only available in common areas (reception, restaurant, and beach), but that didn’t affect our experience.
The animation team is fantastic! Super fun, attentive, and always inviting us to join games, zumba, dancing, or just to enjoy a nice chat on the beach.
The beach bar staff and lifeguards also deserve compliments for their friendliness and helpfulness.
Polite and respectful staff.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The room itself felt a bit outdated, and one major issue was the water pressure — even though I was only on the 5th floor, the water flow from the faucet was very weak. However, I really appreciated how responsive and helpful the staff were in trying to address the problem.
Another concern was the hairdryer. As soon as I turned it on, I could see the heating coil inside glowing red almost instantly, which made it feel unsafe to use. I wouldn't recommend using it for more than 10 minutes at a time.
In terms of dining, I’d suggest the restaurant switch to using proper tomato ketchup and chocolate sauce to improve the overall experience. Also, it would be helpful if the bar staff received some basic English training, as communication was quite difficult at times.
Overall, while the service was commendable, the facilities and a few operational details could use some improvement.
