Viva Blue Resort and Diving Sharm El Naga (Adults Only) in Hurghada

I booked a family room, and the hotel upgraded me to a family suite for free. Both rooms were spacious, with two large sunny balconies perfect for sunbathing. The rooms looked to be over 100 square meters. The breakfast was very generous, and the hotel has its own beach! I would definitely come back to this hotel!

The hotel is magnificent. Yes, it's 40 km from Hurghada, but it's ideal if you want peace and quiet. The food was delicious; we booked the all-inclusive package. The alcohol was excellent, and there was evening entertainment. They provide free masks and life jackets on the beach. The coral reef off the beach is magnificent! The staff was very polite, and everything was clean. The room was large and bright. There are two pools on the property, but the water was chilly in December.

Wow! What can I say! We’ve just had an absolutely fantastic 6 course meal. We confused them slightly as I wanted fish and husbands not a great fish eater, so we ordered from different menus but Chef Edward and Garah created a stunning 6 course meal. We didn’t realise it was 6 courses! So we had Course 1 hors d’oeuvres, Course 2 I had smoked salmon and husband had Cappuccino Soup (which was delicious), Course 3 Waldorf Salad, Course 4 a lemon sorbet soup, Course 5 I had Sea Bass and he had Beef, Course 6 I had Fruit Platter and he had Cheesecake! It was all absolutely delicious and we highly recommend booking a table. It’s not part of the all-inclusive package, but well worth paying the extra! The staff is very friendly, the food is very tasty. The animation is very entertaining everynight a different theme. The beach is very big and alot of space to lie down.

SEA. SNORKELING. Swimming is allowed in the morning from 8 am. They won't let you in earlier, don't try. But in the evening you can swim until 7 pm. I did 3 swims a day for 1.5 hours I was lucky. The first 4 days there was a complete calm at sea. Day 5 small waves. Days 6 and 7 black flag. Sometimes they allowed swimming with a black flag. On the first days I swam to the island in the north. In the calm it is easy to swim against the current. It takes one hour to swim to the island and 40 minutes (very slowly) back to the hotel. In the calm it is 30 minutes to swim south to the neighboring hotel with the current, 40 minutes back against the current. There are a lot of fish. One day I swam in a cloud of different fish along the entire reef, thousands of fish. I saw: Eagle ray – 2 times, Turtle – 1 time, Moray eel – 5 times (you can swim with it for a long time), Barracuda (huge, more than a meter, thick) – 3 times, Blue-ringed stingray – 2 times, Electric ray (big as a eagle ray) – 1 time. Much has been written about the hotel itself. The room is normal, the food is good, the staff is friendly. Very little greenery on the territory. The hotel is not 4 stars at all, but I didn’t care, since I was going for the sea. It’s a 40-50 minute drive to the airport. Late arrival – dinner in the room. Upon departure, you need to vacate the room at 12:00. If later, then an extra charge of 20 dollars. But in this case, the bracelet is not cut off and you can use the restaurant and bar. Upon departure, I sat in the lobby from 12 to 16, the sofas/chairs are comfortable, you can even sleep while waiting for the transfer. The vacationers are mostly Russian, which was surprising because I read reviews that there were no Russians. The first 4 days there were a lot of people, even the sun loungers were all occupied. Then many left, but still the majority were Russians.

Best hotel I was ever in. Everything was clean, quiet, calm. The sea was amazing. It was wonderful to marvel at the beauty of God's creation. Everyone was very polite and happy to engage in smalltalk in any language. The food was great. I have nothing to complain about except our safari trip which was a disappointment but that has nothing to do with the hotel.

The hotel is wonderful and has the advantage of being quiet, the food is good and varied every day, and the staff is nice, cooperative, friendly and always smiling. Also, the animation team is cooperative and active, especially the acrobatic show. We would like to say thank you to everyone who was there.

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with your partner or best friends, this hotel is the ideal place. This adults-only hotel is very quiet and relaxing. We didn't think there would be animators present (what would they do here with adults) but they were there. They were noisy and annoying at times, but all you had to do was show disinterest and they would leave you alone:).
Most of the staff here are very nice, but if you don't give them a buck they stop being so friendly.
Don't forget to pack your diving goggles because you will definitely need them! There is a beautiful coral right next to the hotel that is definitely worth exploring. For this reason, it is not possible to go into the sea via the gradual beach, but you must go over the jetty.
At the reception there is a small shop where you can buy some little things like medicines, drugstore, souvenirs etc.
The choice of food is a bit smaller than in other hotels, but there is definitely something for everyone.
Two days during our stay there was a black flag on the beach (we couldn't go into the sea), but that didn't bother us because the two pools are also very nice and cool.
