Beach: private sandy beach, near the corals. The length of the beach 1 km, Rocky entry into sea (need special shoes). Coral reefs close to the shore. There is a sandy "corridor" to swim without special shoes. Umbrellas, chairs, mattresses, towels - free of charge.

nice hotel with more and variety of food options . staff are much helpful especially Mr Rahim the reception Manager . he can no do enough to enjoy your holiday and makes your holiday the most memorable. highly recommended

Stayed in a suite with my 5-year-old son. Nightmare from the moment we arrived: no hotel shuttle, local taxis driving at 140km/h with a child on board, music blasting, then attempting to charge a fake "tax" at the end of the ride. The suite was unsanitary beyond belief. Faulty plumbing, exposed nails, hanging electrical wires, no hot water for 24 hours. We were moved to another room — same story, 12 hours without hot water. But worse: when maintenance finally came to "fix" the water, brown water came out of the taps. Brown. With a sewage smell that made the room unbearable. Frequent power cuts leaving guests navigating corridors with their phone flashlights. Loud construction noise with zero prior warning. Sun loungers are paid extra. My son and I both got gastroenteritis during the stay — make your own conclusions about hygiene standards. Food is the worst I have ever experienced in a so-called 5-star hotel. Buffets are inedible. The à la carte restaurants requiring mandatory reservations every evening are somehow even worse — we tried them all, none are acceptable. Attempted to have a decent lunch with my son at Makadi Mall next door: every single restaurant there is forbidden to children. Unbelievable. At checkout: explicit pressure from staff to leave positive reviews. No please, no thank you, zero hospitality training throughout the entire stay. I will never return to Hurghada. Avoid this place without exception.

Really nice hotel. Nice acommadations and a lot of different restaurants. The animation team is really good and kind. There are a lot of activities to do.

We had booked a family holiday that was subsequently cancelled and our travel advisor suggested this hotel at the last minute. We were not disappointed-great rooms, great service and good choice of food. Sadly you can’t book à la carte restaurants beforehand and the queues were always huge. However, we soon realised that some restaurants were able to accommodate on the evening so we experienced a good selection. Big thankyou to Ahmed who suggested several trips (and also booked the Italian for us one evening!). We did the super safari-what an experience with camel ride and quad bikes! The trip to Utopia was idyllic and not to be missed. Cairo by flight was a long day so the grandbabies didn’t join us for this one but it was amazing-special thanks to our Egyptologist for the day George who was soooo knowledgeable and engaging. Then we completed the Neferati boat trip complete with snorkelling and dress up! Ahmed in the Mexican restaurant was lovely each visit and always accommodated us (not easy when there are 9 of you!). Last but not least our guide on several trips (hope you got your break and some sleep?) Mario who looked after us beautifully! Thankyou so much Red Sea holidays, our family made some amazing memories that we will never forget!

A nice, large hotel with spacious rooms. The area itself was expansive, featuring many pools and a wide range of activities spread out across the resort. There were several great water slides for older kids, as well as a fun water play area for younger children. The beach was beautiful, with fantastic snorkeling around the surrounding coral reefs. Mr Talal is the king! Any questions or help, he always made sure you as a guest were happy with your stay Food servered in several restaurants, which was good so it wasn’t too cowded.

We had an amazing trip and stay at Grand Waterworld Makadi. The facilities worked well, the staff was friendly, and everything was clean. The beach was stunning, with beautiful fish and coral. This stay was truely great for a family of 4 with 2 children aged 5 and 8. This hotel must be one of the best ive ever stayed at. We recieved a fantastic welcome by our host Tallal that was availeble to help us with whatever we needed for the entire trip. All the staff were extremely friendly and polite and also asked if everyrhing were to our likings. Something offcourse could be improved oike the soor to the bathroom were really heavy and there were quite a lot of birds at a few of the restaurants, but this is really minor inconviniences. The resort has 9 restaurants that are included in the all inclusive deal. The allinclusive deal are very extensive and included all normal beverages, even at the beach. The only thing we paid extra for was icecream at the stalls at the beach, and to use the local gym outside the resort. The beach is nice, good temperaturenin the water in early desember. If you snorkle you can see reefs and fishes in shallow waters. Beautiful. There are a local beauty saloon, this offcourse is quite expensive, and you will have to haggle for the price. But the quality of the service is good. But here i also experienced that they were very eager to charge you in advance, and also to sell you additional treatments and products. As I will imagine goes for Egypt in general.
