Very hot room. Breakfast was small

Quiet and clean place. Breakfast in the fridge and coffee maker ready. Close to the shooting range, which is a good thing.

This was a bit difficult to evaluate due to its specificity. In principle, four stars would also be justified, but based on our own experience, we rate it, so yes, it deserves five stars based on this visit.
I had to visit Hotel Valo many times, but now it finally came true. It was quite easy to book the room online and the payment had to be made immediately.
Arriving at the hotel was easy. There is plenty of free parking space in the courtyard and the code needed for check-in was received on the phone early in the morning.
The machine in the hotel lobby then tapped the necessary information into the device and got the keys to the room. The keys were some kind of wristbands that you couldn't put on your wrist at least, that was the point. So they act as a key. In the evenings, you have to show the key in question to get into the hotel at all.
The room was then transported using a "hospital-like" elevator to a hospital-like lobby, where the hospital-like electric door made a nostalgic sound as it opened and closed. Someone criticized the place for looking like a hospital, but if the place is an old hospital, I guess it can look a bit like that? You can and you can have an effect... although the effect is certainly partly psychological, because after all, a hospital is not like a big building full of small rooms, isn't a hotel like that too?
At the beginning of the corridor leading to the room was a sitting area and the corridor itself was quite nicely expressed with different colored doors and a shy atmosphere. The room itself was a Twin, although I asked and got confirmation that it was a Double. Well, the problem is not very big, because the beds can easily be moved next to each other.
The room was quite spacious and exactly as you would think it would be in a place like this, a suitable place to sleep. Of course, it doesn't offer any design or 65-inch televisions, but nothing essential is missing from that room. I would give a plus for a decent-sized refrigerator and microwave oven, as well as a coffee maker. Those accessories are excellent for a traveler. Well, that TV was probably 32 inches and placed unnecessarily high.
The washroom was perfectly functional, although the air changed to such a brisk one that you should dry the towels in it with a drying rack or ventilate properly outside.
The hotel doesn't really have a restaurant of any kind, but the breakfast, which offered a positive surprise, is served in the downstairs dining room. Even though I was afraid of something else, there was bacon, meatballs, crackers, etc. at breakfast, which is normally served at breakfast in hotels. There was also porridge, the first morning, by the second morning it had run out.
From the lobby, you can reach the spa side along the corridor, if you know how to find the route. Fortunately, there was an expert guide on the trip who knew about the gateway's existence and that it could be better signposted. How many people like it? You could walk down the corridor for a long time, but finally you found the spa section, which is included in the price of the accommodation. It is only open from 17-20.
The pool section was completely empty, and it was a luxury when the two of you could use the entire pool, no one else on land or halmi. The water in the pool was a bit cool, but that didn't really bother me. Communal saunas and showers that offer a little too little privacy mean that it's worth wearing a swimsuit/pants to avoid unexpected situations if someone else happens to be there.
The night in the hotel is extremely peaceful, no traffic noise, no night club buzzing, no mobile walkers in the corridors at night. Although the beds are a bit soft and the room a bit warm, this hotel is a perfectly functional place to stay.
And since the hotel and its surroundings have their own history, you can get to know that too in the small exhibition in the lobby of the second building.
In other words, if you want uncomplicated and easy and peaceful accommodation like us, then this is a perfectly functional solution for that. On the other hand, if you want activities around the clock and a'la carte dishes until late at night or something similar, you won't find them here...luckily.
