This Cathedral stands out from the others in France and is definitely worth a visit. The animal sculptures are fascinating as are all the other little details. My tip would be to bring binoculars to see the things that are very high up.

If the play without subjection with the much better known cathedral of Reims. If not for the size, definitely for the overall quality, enviable. The tourism office you can get the excellent audio guide, which guides you to the discovery of all the details that make this church a witness to the extraordinary. Absolutely worth a visit, and with at least an hour of time! The rest of the town is worth a visit, but this has something more.

The Cathedral of Our Lady of Laon is a beautiful example of early gothic architecture. Add to this the charm of the upper town and you have a successful mix for a nice trip.
Really beautiful building!
Notre-Dane de Laon is the "mother" of Notre-Dame de Paris
The "Grande Dame" of Laon. Unmissable place to visit in the heart of the medieval city.
