Hotel Comfort Tbilisi in Tbilisi

This is hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. When we arrived, the entire place looked deserted — the reception lights were switched off, and for a moment we genuinely thought the hotel had shut down permanently. After standing around awkwardly for nearly 15 minutes, the receptionist finally appeared, only to tell us she “didn’t get our booking,” even though we had fully paid through Booking.com.

Honestly, it felt like they oversold the rooms and were hoping we’d just walk away. To make things even worse, they advertised breakfast, but there was no such facility at all. Zero. Nothing. A supposed 3-star hotel that looks and feels more like a haunted property.

And the attitude? Not even a single apology. Instead, the receptionist acted completely entitled, as if we were inconveniencing her.

This place is a joke. Save your money, your time, and your sanity — stay miles away from this hotel.

I had a fully paid and confirmed Booking.com reservation, but when I reached the hotel around 8 PM, the place was completely dark and looked abandoned. After calling the number, a lady came 15 minutes later only to say there was no booking, no payment, and kept giving excuses. She was rude and unhelpful.

Booking.com later sent a simple apology and refund, but it was extremely inconvenient to find another hotel so late. The location is bad, the service is terrible, and the whole place feels unsafe.

Stay away from this hotel.
