This Hotel is perfectly located. The rooms are nice and we have been upgraded. The staff is absolutely kind and very efficient. The breakfast is not a buffet but we liked it. we stayed 10 days in this hotel
Will come back again We had a very nice stay at the Brown Beach House Very nice hotel good location good staff all helpful. We had a nice room they upgraded us and gave us a late check out as well
I recommend this place for the following reasons : Location Comfort and more important kindness of ALL staff
2 minutes walking distance from the beach and all restaurants in the streets Will always choose this hotel
We returned after almost one year and half to this lovely place Top service
Very good breakfast Despite the situation in Israel, the hotel is maintaining the level of customer service and try their best to satisfy our request I recommend this place , for the service location breakfast cleaner and a very good General Manager Chen and the Top Dana in reception food and beverages
This was a very comfortable hotel in a great location. Updated comfortable rooms and nice staff! I suspect this hotel is under new ownership, as it is much nicer than the ratings led me to believe.
Great hotel experience! Clean, comfortable rooms. Nice lobby with coffee and tea all the time, was a great place to talk to other guests from all around the world. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend
Nice Place to Stay
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was tidy and spacious. It was a little bit noisy at night but that is to be expected due to the location.
Good 3 star hotel. Id stay there again.
I liked the breakfast, but there was no meat at all (but there were eggs, fish, shakshouka, and sweets, so it was bot bad). Overall, I think it was totally acceptable for the price
The staff were very helpful and polite, room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable, and located within easy walking distance of the old city and the Mahaneh Yehudah market
Much less expensive than the big tourist hotels, but far superior than the budget hotels - in my opinion this is the best value hotel in Jerusalem
Although I’m Jewish, I thought this would be a great opportunity to see Palestinian cities like Bethlehem Jericho and Ramallah. We enjoyed our four day stay here. Every day started with a great breakfast
Afterwards, it is a short walk to the Damascus Gate into the walled city. The rooms, each somewhat different but always tastefully decorated and we had taken four separate rooms, nobody had a room issue
The grounds were well maintained and very pleasant to stroll here I had stayed here and the King David on other occasions. Both are excellent but I think my grandsons felt very comfortable here
The location is perfect, the hotel is located in a quiet street and within walking distance of the first station complex and the railway park and within walking distance of the old city
Despite the small street we found parking easily. There is a coffee, tea and pastry stand available to guests 24/7. Thanks to the great service we will definitely come back
The hotel manager Joseph received us warmly and pleasantly throughout our stay and was with a personal attitude, professional and courteous services
A great rest from the war
Superb location. A great way to rest from alerts. The pool was closed because of the war vut otherwise everythig was open.
Reception hall is big with a lovely store and great restaurant: Bao Bar. Ahava factory is walking distance. Breakfast is buffet style and copious. You can take a self guided walk through the botanical garden- kibbutz
It has a pool that suits families. It also has a garden and trails and the water is set for families. The hotel is worth staying in. The area is semi-arid, it's a lot of fun in the garden and pool
The buffet food offered a wide choice for both breakfast and the evening meal and there is an excellent bar for light meals both in the hotel and by the pool
As it always so hot in Ein Gedi the hotel offers a marvelous swimming pool which is partially shaded so can be enjoyed all day long
The pool allows smoking unfortunately, so trying to enjoy the beautiful grounds was hard while smelling cigarette smoke, listening to loud club music guests were playing on their personal speakers, and stepping over trash littered all over the pool are
You must try the lift just for the pleasure of pressing the buttons - I challenge anyone not to smile when they do!!! The breakfast in the restaurant was excellent with a good choice on the menu
Brilliant as usual. Have stayed in this well run and centrally located small hotel before and standards good. Hot drinks available 24x7 and very comfortable.
We chose basic rooms which are small but sufficient for a couple, as I would expect in an older hotel in the heart of the city. We had a welcoming large bottle of water on each visit
30am! Position of the hotel is excellent with plentiful shops and cafes and buses. We chose to walk everywhere - to the Carmel market and the beach (15 minutes if you can manage without a coffee or snack on the way)
The location was very good, close to shops, restaurants and a very nice place. The room was small but very confortable. The breakfast is a la carte and very varied and good.
The location is perfect and hotel staff was friendly
Wonderful place at the Kinneret!
Lot of indoor and outdoor areas to spend the day. Staff was awesome! They were really helpful and answered all our questions before and during our stay!
Spacious rooms, well equipped
The hotel's swimming pool is relatively small but well maintained. The hotel does not have a regulated beach, but there is direct access from the hotel to the banks of the Sea of Galilee
A peaceful vacation
The hotel is located near the Migdal junction, on the banks of the Sea of Galilee. Our room was spacious and equipped with: safe, minibar, hair dryer, electric kettle, espresso machine
The breakfast was delicious and varied and the waiters were kind. The reception staff was professional and helpful. The public areas of the hotel were clean and the hotel garden was well maintained
Staff were excellent!!!!
They took tremendous pride and provided a first class experience!!!
The rooms and property were so clean and the breakfasts delicious!!!!
Best hotel in northern Israel.
This place has won my heart and my vote of confidence. By far THE BEST hotel stay in my life! Every staff member was attentive and polite and the property was so clean and well maintained
Our transportation driver, Mahmoud was also telling us about the area on our drive to/from the airport and to Bethlehem on Christmas Eve. He also introduced us to Mohammad, an excellent guide in Bethlehem
Mouayad Khader the front office assistant manager was extremely helpful with our changes in our bookings and setting up transportation and tours
Everything was outstanding at the American Colony Hotel in Jerusalem ! This hotel is clearly one of my favorite hotels ever, and this for several reasons: The building itself and its history; the patio where you can enjoy a great dinner at the Courtyard restaurant; the Summer Bar where you can sip very good cocktails in a truly beautiful garden; the room, tastefully decorated in a retro style; a clean...
The cellar bar is one of the coolest I’ve been to. In short: you shouldn’t think twice about trying to stay here. They fill up, especially in the high seasons but it is so worth it if you can get a room here
Some of them have 12 foot ceilings and are huge. The service here is warm and personal, quite opposite the luxury hotels on the western side. The breakfast is lovely and can be personalized to your taste
We stayed at the American Colony Hotel in Jerusalem for three nights and had an excellent experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding , warm, professional, and attentive
We were at spa. Clean, new, good quality sauna! Keg with cold water, jakuzi, dry sauna, wet sauna, comfort salon room with TV and conditioner and very tasty food!
Loved my stay here. Everything was well organized, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Definitely coming back.
and I enjoyed it very much! Already at the entrance to the hotel there is a poster: "You arrived as a guest, we hope you will leave as a family" It's definitely proves itself!!! I wish there were a few more hotels like this in Israel with such a level of service, amazing and delicious food, and in general
The room was clean. The food was freah. The service was friendly. The location was PERFECT. Walking distance from the kotel, machne yehuda, ben yehuda, the light rail...
Modern&fine boutique hotel. Very clean, nicely renovated, very pleasant place to spend the weekend in Jerusalem. The stuff is very welcoming, friendly and willing to help in everything. It was a great choice for us!
My husband had a business trip to Jerusalem so my son and I tagged along. We were in Jerusalem for five days and then we were switching to a hotel closer to the convention center
Fantastic location right at Jaffa Road and King George, and very close to pedestrian streets Ben Yehuda. Steps from light rail to go to the old city and most tourist locations.
The hotel is very clean and quiet, and the location is fantastic--as central as you can get. (There is construction right outside for the new light rail but it's not noisy
I like the room with sea view of Galilee, well equipped of room facilities, cozy room vibe, and the small wine prepared is smooth for a good sleep.
Great accommodations. More than we expected. Convenient location for sightseeing in the North. Friendly staff. Views of the Sea are unforgettable.
I stayed at the Leonard Hotel in Tiberias in a room with a sea view, and overall it was a very good experience. The view of the Sea of Galilee was beautiful and definitely a highlight of the stay
The hotel itself is comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Tiberias
Aside from that, everything was fine. The rooms were clean, but the swimming pool was quite crowded. However, to my surprise, the pool was organized and clean in the morning
We had a very good time the rooms are spacious and new and very inviting the food and breakfast was very good and you have a nice Lobby
We were there for under 3 days and my kids went swimming every day in the gorgeous indoor pool. (It was winter, so we couldn't go to the outdoor pool, which looks beautiful. ) My husband enjoyed the sauna
The room was very comfortable with a view to the lawn next to the pool & beyond to the hills outside Jerusalem. A nice touch was the small plate of food, bottled water & chocolate provided on check-in.
Nice resort friendly stuff good service 👍 food good big verity big pool inside and out side recommended for family or couples. Nice room for prayer 🙏. I was very happy and very recommended.
. It was especially great for our kids, lots to do, amazing indoor kiddie pool. We loved everything about our stay, food, service facilities, room, entertainment
Good base for Jerusalem
Rooms as pictured, good size. Very good facilities for young children. Large pool area.
The Hotel and Dining Room Staff are Very Courteous! They did their best to accommodate us to our specific needs. The Food was healthy with a Wide Variety of Choices. The rooms were spacious and comfortable
At a good time we celebrated our dear son's Bar Mitzvah on 9-11/12 and we stayed *at my boutique hotel* Tiberias
A clean and tidy hotel, inviting and special with a warm and homely atmosphere, the rooms were fragrant and available before the appointed time, the hotel staff was caring and kind! Guests were always served refreshments, drinks and a pampering coffee machine, the pool was clean, the dining...
And of course *for a kitchen man* - you have golden hands and a huge heart! Everything is served so pampering and delicious! Thank you
*And Ribaki* the secretary for all the phone calls and the organization and also *to Avraham* the secretary who were both behind the counter and received the guests and gave the most professional and quality service
*To Molly* The CEO of the hotel who we met from the first moment, and who accompanied us throughout the organization period, who gave us his heart and soul and organized an amazing and complex SOP for us, thank you for any consultation or idea, you were our right hand in everything
Thanks!
"my boutique team" - you were really family to us!!! Thanks!!!
Highly recommend - if you want a once-in-a-lifetime family weekend, "my boutique family" - the place and the team you must have!!!
The Hazan family!
You are a dear man!
*To my peace* the manager we met later, thank you for cheering us up and making possible what others wouldn't make possible
Your place is full of potential and with a winning team!
To the kosher supervisor who took care and helped with everything we needed
Every staff member we came across, had a smile and nothing was too much trouble, even the cleaners. It is a very well run hotel and staff look like they enjoy working there
A wonderful hotel with a wonderful and helpful staff who are always there to help you and make you feel at home
Though we didn't spend too much time in the hotel, other than sleeping but it left a great impression on us! Our sheets, towels and surfaces of desk, counter and bathroom were all regularly cleaned during our stay
The view from the Top near the lobby gives a very peaceful, relaxing outlook
The website also made it seem that the pool and lounge at the Shangri-la was open when it was in fact closed due to a lack of staff. The main pool area had too many flies to be able to sit comfortably and relax
We’ll definitely be back, amazing hotel with stunning views on a quiet location outside of the city. High level service and overall the hotel has a very pastoral feeling. Rooms are super clean and comfortable beds
We would like to give special thanks to Patricia, the receptionist, as she was incredibly helpful, friendly, thoughtful, and generous towards us throughout our stay and made it a very memorable one
They didn't even try to hear my complaint, nor to fix, they just replied that this is what they have. was very unacceptable and disappointing service
The ocean view is nice but if you want real quiet the garden is a better choice
We stayed here for a few days with a group of 4 people. The stuff was really helpful and nice. Our rooms were not too big, but very tidy and clean
Amazing staff especially Tania
Hidden Jem
Whenever staying in the South the Regina Goren is my favorite. Tatyana and the staff are always welcoming and attentive. The hotel can be difficult to find but once you know, you know
Pros:
Within walking distance to the beach and marina
Staff are hospitable and very helpful
Rooms with large balconies, overlooking the beach
Reasonably clean
Not expensive
Cons:
Not exquisitely maintained - some furniture were "out of shape", hot water had very low pressure
Due to the situation we could not check in in this hotel. Therefore they made a reservation for us in the Leonard Plaza hotel. Same price same service. Perfect!!
Excellent. Yael in customer services particularly helpful , professional, and kind.
The pool is quiet and private and has sun most of the day. Great for business travelers or families because such a large lobby and space but feels like a luxury lounge
Great location. Staff was a amzing. Huge breakfast. Views from bakcony were super.
Clean room. Very nice staff. Quiet hotel. Exactly what we were looking for. Fair price too.
Thanks! Just beware of the merchant in the jewellery shop in the lobby
With only four rooms it feels like luxury home! We were in "tziporen" room and it was lovely and well equipped! Very nice balcony and the service was very welcoming! Will recommend my friend and come again! Thanks! :)
Nice and clean. Close to Ziv center and the Technion. Iris is a wonderful person who helps out with everything. I'll definitely recommend staying here.
Our hotel room was really a small old apartment in a building next to a flower shop. Very basic but convenient for our needs of being close by our daughter. Cafes and supermarket within 10 min walk and staff were nice
Little balcony for breakfast that we bought which was pleasant
Friendly and professional staff. Room as comfortable as any traveller needs. Bed very comfortable for an 80 year olds back. I wish I could live there! A brilliant start to my time on Haifa
The place is clean and close to the bus stops that makes the whole stay convenient. The building is small and old but very nice, staffs are friendly and accommodating... big check ???
This is the perfect basic hotel.
The team here is sooo nice and helpful. And the location is perfect, walking distance from all the major attractions
Simple hotel. Great for a short stay and tour of the city. Not fancy. Not great. Just exactly what you paying for. Clean, nice, simple and good value for money.
The breakfast and gentle breakfast music was an icecream on this old lady's cake!
Evgeny and Ofer Thank you
A hotel for people looking for a homely and family atmosphere. Hotel from 1930, very friendly staff. Was given a choice of room upon check in. The room has towels and shampoo
Amazing place to stay! Location in Tzfat is great, place is very clean and homey. Our hosts are friendly, welcoming and very attentive to our needs. Each room is differently decorated and comfortable
Quiet secluded gardens with fresh fruit trees and amazing views looking out over the Kinneret and southern Galilee. The building was built in a different era, resulting in every room being different
Everything at this beautiful place is comfortable, up to date, clean and pleasent. The manager is helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, a short from historical sites and from the central station
The staff were outstanding the architecture exotic. Breakfast was phenomenal, many items from the property garden. Location was great and walkable right in the middle of the Artist Colony
We stayed for the weekend with our sons 11 and 14. Aside from the beautiful and clean rooms, the grounds are exquisite and very calming. We joined Leah and Shlomo for the Shabbat meals
Totally charming bed and breakfast, right in the center of the artists colony. Susan, the owner, gave lots of helpful advice, and even got us to their parking area
Great restaurant downstairs. Doable walk to old Jerusalem. Lots of night stuff in neighborhood
Great location with plenty of restaurants in the area and just a one-minute walk to the Jaffa City Center light rail. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was, likely because my room was away from the main road
It is relatively shabby and battered. Still good price for excellent location. Linen was clean, AC works, there is hot water in the bathroom. Definitely no luxuries, but nobody expects it for such a price
A simple hotel in a great location. The decor is a bit dated, but everything is quite clean. The shower lacks a shelf for toiletries, but considering the low price and location, these are minor issues
Value for money. Convenient location. Close to public transport, food and supermarkets. Easy walk to the Old City. Free coffee and tea. Free hot water. Kitchen for hotel guests. Nice dining place.
Well, except for one thing – I arrived just before Shabbat, and there was no toilet paper in the room, nor was there a receptionist at the desk
Jerusalem, HaHavatselet St 1, 94224 Elusalen, Ierusalim, Izrail 🧭 Map
Pool: Pool
For two of us (married) the room was small by our normal standards in the USA. But…TV had 5+ English channels, shower in the corner was good with hot water, and small refrig served our needs
Stayed 2 times and going back this December - owners are incredibly helpful, hotel is in perfect location (square and western wall) - rooms small but updated, very clean and all the comforts you will need (good tv / a/c / hot water etc etc) -- incredible value given all the above - nothing wrong in this writers opinion (I have travelled 65 countries, from hostels to 5 star hotels)
I highly recommend it and hope to return. NOTE: The hotel is in an old building which has several steep flights of stairs to reach the two floors. This is not necessarily a problem, if you are young and strong enough
While not an upscale hotel, the owners Eli and Nathan are very welcoming and are definitely part of the experience of staying there. A kitchen is available if you want to do light cooking
The rooms include a small refrigerator which is great for keeping drinks cool. directly across from Zion Park and is close to transportation, many restaurants and tourist attractions
I would have liked a breakfast area but Aroma Coffee is 30 steps from the front door. No elevator and first rooms start on the 2nd floor. There was at least another floor above us
