A wonderful hotel with a wonderful and helpful staff who are always there to help you and make you feel at home. We would like to give special thanks to Patricia, the receptionist, as she was incredibly helpful, friendly, thoughtful, and generous towards us throughout our stay and made it a very memorable one.
A generous breakfast was served.

This place is heaven

Great stay but far from eilat

Overpriced
The hotel is a bit overpriced- you don't really get your money's worth or value. I understand that this is a war-time and not everything can go to plan but some things suprised me. For example, we paid for a deluxe room and were given a standard room. When this was brought to thier attention, they did not feel inclined to help. The room we stayed in suffered multiple blackouts and kept losing electricity and power and we had to flip the switch on (in the electric box) repeatedly throughout our stay. The website also made it seem that the pool and lounge at the Shangri-la was open when it was in fact closed due to a lack of staff. The main pool area had too many flies to be able to sit comfortably and relax. Other than those issues, the room was clean but a bit run down, the bed was comfortable and there was a nice sized patio. Breakfast was great and the hotel area was easy to navigate by foot even though it was a bit of a steep incline (this hotel is built on and into the side of a mountain). I would hesitate to stay here again.

We’ll definitely be back, amazing hotel with stunning views on a quiet location outside of the city. High level service and overall the hotel has a very pastoral feeling. Rooms are super clean and comfortable beds. The most beautiful beaches with the coral reef for snorkeling and diving are right next to the hotel which was just perfect for us.

Great property…location a tad odd….but cat control is needed!

Well, overall experience is good, BUT…some rooms are good and looks like the pictures and some are really not! The hotel in general looks very luxurious, the standard rooms are not nicer than the orchid rooms which is sad.
The lounge with free food all day is really good and the view is very nice.
I would recommend to take the private villa and above if you want to feel the Shangri-la experience and not to be disappointed. Overall prices are decent.

The front desk has been incredibly nice and helpful and was very helpful in advice on what to do in the city. Parking is adequate. Hotel was very clean as well as the room. The breakfast was better than what I expected.
Though we didn't spend too much time in the hotel, other than sleeping but it left a great impression on us! Our sheets, towels and surfaces of desk, counter and bathroom were all regularly cleaned during our stay
The view from the Top near the lobby gives a very peaceful, relaxing outlook.
Every staff member we came across, had a smile and nothing was too much trouble, even the cleaners.
It is a very well run hotel and staff look like they enjoy working there.
We will definitely be back
