Good hotel for families and for couples.
The food was great.

Besides the good location this hotel is very dated. Dirt/stains/rust/broken tiles everywhere. Above all is the very poor food and the disastrous behavior of the front desk and the management. As mentioned the hotels location is good but there are many hotels nearby which are much better. I will not return to this hotel.

We stayed at the Leonardo Club Hotel Dead Sea, part of the Fattal Hotel Group, for two nights as a family, booking three rooms. When you book a 4/5 -star hotel belonging to a large chain, you expect a certain baseline of quality. Apparently, that expectation was overly optimistic. To be clear: this is not a 4/5-star hotel. Calling it that is generous. At best, this is a tired 2-star property that has not seen a meaningful renovation in years. The entire hotel feels worn down and neglected. Mold, rust, stains, cracked tiles, damaged walls and floors — not in one isolated corner, but everywhere. Lobby, corridors, rooms. The atmosphere is less “resort” and more “long overdue for refurbishment.” The rooms are reasonably sized and comfortable bed, but that is where the positives end. Mold on walls. Dirty floors. General deterioration throughout. The door lock did not function and the door itself felt unstable. I have stayed in dozens of hotels in Israel and abroad, and I cannot recall a single 4-star hotel that doesn’t provide even one complimentary bottle of water. It may sound minor — but details reflect standards, and here the standards are simply low. The shower was almost comical. It sprayed water everywhere except where it should. Maintenance arrived quickly after my wife called reception — credit where it’s due. Unfortunately, after the “repair,” the situation actually became worse, requiring a second call. Basic room functionality should not feel like an engineering experiment. Now to the most disappointing aspect of this stay: the reception and PR management. The front desk staff consistently projected indifference, bordering on annoyance, as if guests were interrupting their day. But the real low point was the so called PR manager. Instead of professionalism, courtesy, or even minimal empathy, we encountered condescension and a complete lack of accountability. Concerns were brushed aside. There was no genuine attempt to resolve issues. No ownership. No hospitality. For someone in a guest-relations role, the absence of basic people skills was astonishing. If this is the standard of management, it explains a lot about the overall condition of the hotel. The dining room is crowded and chaotic. Yes, there is an impressive-looking variety of food. Unfortunately, variety is meaningless when quality is this poor. Much of the food was barely edible; some dishes were simply bad, the soups were tasteless, just coloured water. The chicken and meat were particularly disappointing. On several occasions, I ended up eating bread and hummus because it felt like the only safe/best option. A hotel that advertises itself at this level should be embarrassed by that. The dining room staff, however, were friendly and did their best — they deserve recognition. My wife's and sons massages were good. The only real advantage of this hotel is its direct access to the Dead Sea. Location is doing most of the heavy lifting here. It may also suit families with sm

We were happy that we were given a big room. It was on the 2nd floor but it was huge. No complaints there. The cleaning personnel were meticulous, deserving of a good tip, which we provided. Food was plenty. Not a 5-star hotel, but plenty and of decent quality. The hotel is in need of renovation, but many of the things that can be improved can be done with little effort: At the dining room: - Food is left uneaten because it is not heated. - Unnecessarily crowded. There is no need of so many tables. - The line to get ommeletes is extremelly long. Jaya was a master of speed, but the place looks like Kremlin in the 1970s. You need two people cooking eggs. At the bar: - You need someone to replace Muhammad. No more comments. The parking lot is the reason I will take one star from Tripadvisor. It's just a shame, even when having a disability badge. I have to say that personnel was fantastic. Particularly the Nepalese and Philipine. I should also mention that Liat, who called us to hear how we were doing. That's a neat attention we didn't expect. The swimming pool was not heated, even though when I called I was told that it was. The elevators look like remains of the 1948 war, but somehow they do work.

Very much what you would expect from a four star hotel; some of the rooms and facilities could have been a bit modernized, but they were in great shape We stayed on a package that was all inclusive, and it was very much worth it. It was a great deal. The food was good and the staff was very friendly.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Leonardo Club Dead Sea. The hotel has so much potential, but it falls short in almost every aspect. First, the service was very underwhelming. The staff seemed disinterested and not at all welcoming. It took forever to check in, and when we asked for assistance with a few basic things, the response was slow and unhelpful. The room was nothing like what I expected. It was outdated, with old furniture and a musty smell that never quite went away. The bathroom had moldy corners and the shower pressure was weak, making it really unpleasant to use. The food was another huge letdown. The buffet was repetitive, with low-quality ingredients, and it felt like everything had been sitting out for hours. I expected better considering the price I paid for the stay. The pool area was overcrowded, and there was no space to relax. The beach access was not well-maintained either, and the Dead Sea itself didn’t feel as inviting as I had imagined. All in all, this was a disappointing experience, and I definitely won’t be coming back. For the price, I expected much better service, quality, and overall experience. I’d recommend looking for other options near the Dead Sea. Would you like me to adjust anything or add more details? From the moment I walked in, I knew I had made a mistake booking this place. The room was disgusting. The walls were covered in mold, and the smell was unbearable – a mix of dampness and rot. It felt like no one had bothered to clean or maintain the room in years. The entire place was filthy, and the stains on the furniture made it look like it hadn’t been replaced in decades. The service was an absolute nightmare. The staff was rude, unhelpful, and completely indifferent. When we complained about the state of the room, they barely acknowledged it and did nothing to fix the issues. It was clear that they didn’t care about their guests at all. The cleanliness was non-existent. The bathroom was dirty, with hairs on the floor and a shower that didn’t work properly. The whole experience felt unsanitary, and I couldn’t wait to leave. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had, and I would strongly advise anyone thinking about staying here to look elsewhere. The hotel is a complete disaster – avoid it at all costs!

A wonderful hotel for families with a private sandy beach and all-inclusive meals, all of which were delicious. Excellent and prompt service. Special thanks to Shulomit, who welcomed us, explained the hotel to us, and provided excellent service.

Leonardo Club was the perfect Dead Sea trip!
When we needed to change our room because of neighbors who smoked, Tamar handled it politely and immediately.
Shlomit called us several times to make sure we were happy. We have never gotten the attention that Shlomit gave us from any hotel!
Shlomit also recommended the "wet trail" hike at Nachal Bokek. It was great and it was free.
Shlomit also recommended a hike to "Zohar Fortress." What a beautiful and historic place! Also free.
The food was excellent.
The room was spotlessly clean.
The workers were pleasant and polite.
We couldn't ask for more.
