Reviews
Busboy took my plate and fork from under my nose while i was still eating, without even asking.
Find another hotel where they have respect for guests.
In the room dust was everywhere. Like no one cleaned this room how year. But design of room and hotel was nice. Stuff was rude like nowhere. I was in shock from this attitude. Breakfast was very good, I enjoyed. Very fresh food and tasty. But from the juices station just dripped dirty water with juice, not even looking like a juice. Spa very nice but floor always dirty and no one clean.
The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the staff was courteous and especially kind to the children.
We stayed at the end of August as a family of five, on a half-board basis. We booked two rooms with a connecting door. There were children's activities every evening, the food was varied and tasty, and there was a cute kids’ room with board games, crafts, and a PlayStation stands. Across the street there are two malls with air conditioning
The atmosphere was great.
Hours later and the room is still hot at 26.2degC. Called again and the reception said we should try a ‘fresh’ tech since a new shift came on board. Needless to say no one showed up until we eventually checked out. Sleepless night in warm room.
Reason for the AC not keeping up with cooling? The coil is so gunked up from old dirt that it couldn’t ever cool properly. Zero maintenance whatsoever. Open junction boxes and exposed electrical wires.
Lesson is to check on your room and not give up until you get a functional room
Add poop stain at the bottom side of the toilet seat and you get where the one star came from.
Lobby has the dumbest setup for guest services- three parallel lines instead of a slalom so it is a luck of the draw if you get served…
Breakfast was decent with large variety and fast service. Just show up early before the huligans show up.
Great view.
The dining room was excellent, offering a nice variety of tasty dishes. In the hotel lobby, the bar was superb with great cocktails and a nice atmosphere. Service throughout the hotel was very good.
On the downside, the synagogue is a bit outdated, and parking can be challenging, we had to park about a five-minute walk away from the hotel.
Good
-Wonderful and friendly reception from the agent on duty, Logan.
-Excellent location, a couple of minutes to walk to the public beach area
-Refurbished rooms, well appointed, and comfortable.
-Nice pool area, with covered seating areas, along with shaded areas. Unfortunately, the pool is not covered with a shade similar to some other hotel pools that I have visited in the area.
-There is a small workout room (did not use) and a spa area (also did not use, but there was a pool there).
The Not So Good
-There was a lot of food selection, but it was not great. There was not a lot of flavour, and the quality was average.
-Parking can be an issue. There are a limited number of parking spots in the front of the hotel, and once those are taken, you need to find somewhere to park in the area.
