The Play Hotel is fine. Located in the center of Tel Aviv. I have no bad words to say or complaints, but I took the time to write this review to say thank you to Maria at the reception. The staff was kind and courteous. The room was clean, modern and the staff upgraded us to a beautiful ocean view! The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and the bar in the lobby had great ambience. Housekeeping was attentive and allowed us to have an extra fridge in the room too. Unlike other hotels this one does not provide a free coffee machine for self-use. They charge you every time you want a coffee. Make sure you turn on the "Do not clean" button when going to sleep. If you don't, the staff will just walk into the room in the early morning as they did to me at 8am! Rooms are extremely small. Hotel bedding is lackluster at best. The bed cover is very small could not cover 2 people. This is a hotel fitted for younger clientele. At one point in my stay housekeeping left their cleaning supplies in my room. I definitely would not stay here again.

Reason for Low comfort level was due to the unclear nature of the Kosher status of the hotel. The Meat Restaurant "Ranch House" is not Kosher and is open on Shabbat. Also, the Farm shop is open on Shabbat. The hotel is of a very high standard Includes all spa services And has one of the highest levels of service we have seen in Israel. However, we were disappointed to discover that the heated pool was actually heated to an inadequate temperature, which meant we didn't get into the pool at all - we expected more than that.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable; the staff was consistently welcoming; and accommodating and the entire property was modern and well maintained. I gave such a low rating because this hotel is dirty! It's dusty, hairs in the sheets, finger prints everywhere. I am staying in a suite and paying alot of money for it yet it's nasty dirty . Breakfast wasn't bad until I saw a bug crawling on the plates . If you are okay with a dirty place this is your place . Otherwise it " looks great" they really need a good cleaning staff

Great stay, great location, good food. From our room, there was an amazing view of the beach, easy access to main areas and the beach, buffet breakfast had many options. Wifi was generally OK and could be accessed from the rooftop pool area, that also had plenty of shade to avoid the hot sunshine.
