First off, we booked through booking . Com and it was rated as a nice hotel. Wrong right off the bat- it's a hostel in a sketchy part of town(which we didn't find out until we got there). We got an email shortly after booking - the bunk beds and the queen bed that was promised in the ad, we were told were not included. I called the property and the man told me that just the queen was included - any other beds would be €25 more. Having four of us (and since we had already given our credit card) I said fine- we definitely needed those beds. We tried to get to this place- no parking (again- wrong on the ad). After we got there- the door was locked- the man wasn't even there to give us our room. After everything wrong already, we were pretty upset but called the man still hoping it would be okay. The man got there and showed us the room quickly before telling us to get out of it. He also got upset about the fact that we asked him to put an extra bed in (and then vehemently denied that he had emailed us). After this rude behavior- that was the last straw. We told him we wanted to cancel as he got on the phone to ignore us so we started to walk off. The man then chased after and grabbed my two friends - yanking them behind the gate telling us that we couldn't cancel! We told him we already gave our credit card to booking- just charge through that but we will not be staying here! He then yells we owe him the money and fearing for my friends safety I throw the euro that it would have been (which I am sure is now double charged on my credit card). With that money in his hand he let go, we ran out and he locked the gate behind us. If you care for your safety- at all costs- avoid this property.
