The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the room was very comfortable and reasonably priced.

The person who greeted me was such a lovely, polite, and enthusiastic lady. It seemed like she was a little busy as she was working alone, but she explained everything very carefully. They provided yukata (light cotton robes) and even showed me how to wear them! The room was super Japanese retro style, exactly the kind of Japanese room I wanted to stay in! I highly recommend it to anyone who, like me, loves old Japanese houses! (Japanese sliding doors, tatami mats, and a really cool old massage chair!) If you have luggage, you might have to carry it up to the second floor, but the whole house was super clean and tidy! I absolutely loved it! 🥰

Very good hostel, wonderful owners - told and explained everything, gave yukatas and a full set for hot springs. Everything is clean, the rooms are very cozy, it is cool in the room, but the air conditioner warmed it up. For such a price it is even all 100 stars✨

It was a wonderful experience to have a traditional Japanese house. The tatami mats with the mattress were very comfortable and not hard at all.

This is my 2nd time to stay in this Ryokan style accomodation runned by 2 lively and lovely sisters! I will definitely book again if I will go back to Kinosaki Onsen.

This is a very cost-effective youth hostel in Kinosaki Onsen Town. The hot spring town is relatively small, so it doesn't matter where you stay.
The room is in the form of tatami and you have to make your own bed. When I checked in, there were only two people in the room including me, and my roommate was relatively quiet, which was nice.
There is no floor heating in the public areas of the hotel, so it is quite cold. There are two toilets and two washbasins in total. When I used it, it was a coincidence that I didn't see anyone else and didn't have to queue. There is only one bathroom, on the first floor. I didn't use it because I went to the public hot spring. There is also a small kitchen on the first floor where you can simply heat up rice balls or something.

Excellent! Traditional and simple Japanese accommodation! The staff were attentive and made me feel right at home! Great value for money, I'll definitely stay here again!

The hostess is warm and hospitable, and it is not suitable to bring large luggage. The luggage has to be moved to the second floor. The beds and quilts are all self-service, and the bathroom and toilet are all shared outside. The price is fair and the price is high. This is my second stay.

Fantastic lodging option for women that was one of my favorite picks in Japan. The sisters who run the place are very sweet and helpful. There’s an onsen outfit you can use for free (yukata robe, coat, sandals, and bag).

I stayed in the dorm and the futon bed was comfier than average. The heat worked well and the toilets were in good shape. The location is also perfect, it’s just off the main street so there’s no noise but it’s close to everything.

This small B&B is in a good location, not far from the hot spring street. The rooms are relatively spacious and the service is pretty good. Kinosaki Onsen is a quiet place worth visiting.

I will still give 5 for the great value for money compared to adjacent more expensive accommodation. Hope unsafe things there get improved.

Location: 8-10 minutes walk to the train station. Near Family Mart! In the heart of Kinosaki onsen touristy street.

Service: When I arrived around 4pm,there is no one to help me carry my heavy luggage up to the 3rd floor. There appears to be no elevator.

Room and Facility: Room has enough space. But the lavatory is so bad that the faucet can burn your skin in the winter. There should be some safety device. The stair steps are so small that wearing wooden slippers is a safety risk. You can litterally fall. Nevertheless, the private onsen is very good. It does not smell like chlorine. The woody scent is relaxing and memorable.

Welcome lounge and Breakfast: Warm and welcoming staff at the welcome lounge and breakfast. The freebies are limited as well as the time you can enjoy free but still delicious and well done. Beautiful cafe

Amenities: beautiful free rental tradional dress with a variety of options.

I still recommend.

I stayed here for two nights and had such a warm, friendly experience. The breakfast was great and they even accommodated my vegetarian needs. You have the option to rent bicycles at the same front desk you check in at which was also super convenient.

We stayed 2 nights half boards at Koyado Enn. This is beyond awesome experience in terms of location (very close to JR station), wonderful services with doable English communication + scrumptious breakfast and dinner. Oh forgot to mention its happy hour drink in the afternoon which we enjoyed after public onsens hopping; we had sparkling plum wine and hot/cold sake! Thank you, Koyado Enn!

The hotel staff was an absolute joy and helped me with any issues I had. Extremely welcoming and very nice. There was a trainee named Nguyen Thi Dung who helped me a lot and really made me feel welcome. The private baths were sublime and the food service was some of the best I have had personally. Definitely a wonderful place to stay at if you want to visit kinosaki onsen.
