The hotel had a great feel throughout, and they offered complimentary iced water, which was a nice touch. However, the price was quite high during my stay, and then it dropped by half right after I checked out. That left me feeling like I didn't get the best value for money, but despite that, the hotel itself is excellent.

The Karasuma subway line is super close, making it incredibly convenient to get to Kyoto Station. There's a proper supermarket nearby, not just a convenience store, and a KAMO shop. It's also not far to walk to the lively Kawaramachi Sanjo area. The room has a window that opens, and there's free water available. The location is quiet yet central, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. Kyoto Imperial Palace is right around the corner. Highly recommend!

The room was very spacious, and the location was excellent. Everything was within walking distance, including convenience stores and a nearby train station.

Nice area to with a lot of facilities… The hotel has a self laundry mate that helps a lot. Overall it was a nice experience stay with them.

I booked for two days, and the hotel was great. The front desk upgraded my room, and it's close to the subway station, which makes getting around super convenient. The hotel offers comprehensive services; I could get toiletries downstairs. There's even a scale, which is handy for when you head home. Everything was good. I've attached some photos of the surroundings – hope they make you want to visit even more!

The hotel offers complimentary skincare products on the first floor. However, the room facilities are a bit old, and not being able to open the window made it a bit stuffy. Breakfast was good, and the view from the first floor is also quite nice. They provide free umbrellas, which is convenient when it rains. For shopping, there's Shinfukan across the street, but other places require a 20-minute walk or a subway ride. From Tokyo Station, take the Marunouchi Line to Kokkai-gijidomae Station, and Exit 3-2 has a direct elevator, which is great if you have large luggage. Overall, it's good value for money.

I've been to Kyoto many times, and it feels like I always end up staying around Kawaramachi. This time, I decided to try somewhere different! 😁 The hotel is located in the city center at Karasuma Oike, just a few minutes' walk from the subway, which is super convenient. The room was quite spacious, and although it's an older hotel, it's generally well-maintained. The elevators were always quick, so we rarely had to wait. The breakfast selection was pretty good. We happened to check in during the hotel's 30th-anniversary celebration, and they even gave us a souvenir and a complimentary happy hour! The staff were all very warm and polite. It was truly a pleasant stay.

This hotel is clean and tidy, with a great location making it easy to get around. The service is excellent, and the facilities are comprehensive, including a safe and a washing machine in the room. It's also very quiet. Overall, a very good hotel.
