The walk to the hotel is inconvenient if we have big luggages. The hotel room is old but we love the room space. With 3 beds, we have plenty of walking space. We enjoyed the spacious bathroom. The hotel staffs should proactively ask if we are member of its hotel group. We bought souvenirs and forgot to show our member to get a discount.
The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to get around. The service was warm and attentive, and the food was also good. The breakfast offered both Japanese and Western options, and the Japanese breakfast was truly fantastic. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Kyoto.
The room was very quiet, and the blackout curtains worked perfectly. The staff were super friendly and helpful; they even offered me an umbrella when it rained without asking for my room number, which was a lovely gesture and reminded me of the grand service of yesteryear. It's an easy walk to the bustling downtown area. Right next to the hotel is Foguang Temple, which has two huge ginkgo trees and...
I always choose this hotel because the staff makes us feel welcomed. Great location and excellent breakfast. I just booked two more future trips, and very much look forward to them!!

A very cozy, clean, comfortable and nice hotel. Too bad i only stayed for one night.
Great location, two minutes walk to kyoto station. Breakfast Buffet is delicious. Room is Comfortable.
Outstanding stay. The staff was absolutely lovely and extremely attentive. I dropped off my luggage on the first day, and it was placed directly in my room before I even returned to the hotel. The hotel was impeccably clean, I was upgraded, the room was very comfortable, and the location couldn’t have been better—right next to the main transportation hub and close to the city center.
Excellent location, next to Kyoto station. Convenient for transport and dining.
The room is a bit small, but clean and tidy.
I stayed at Kyoto Century Hotel 20 years ago when I first visited Kyoto, and it was great to return after so long. The library-style lobby is still as magnificent as I remember. The room was compact but functional, the service was professional, and the transportation is incredibly convenient. It's a great choice for anyone traveling to Kyoto.
hotel is good overall, excellent services and convenient location. The only thing is it’s a bit old, no usb charger. And the mirror have some eyes shaped image textile which is kind of weird.

Good, quiet location. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Would stay again.
I stayed here when I came for an exam. It's very close to the school and attractions. There's a bus stop right outside, and the room was spacious and great!
This is my second time staying at this hotel. I chose it because it's very close to Eikan-do and Nanzen-ji, which are great for viewing autumn leaves.
Now that I've stayed twice, I want to give a more thorough review of its pros and cons.
On the downside, the rooms aren't very soundproof. However, guests generally quiet down after 11 PM. But I could still hear snoring from the next room.
Also, this...
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Heian No Mori Kyoto Hotel! The place was clean, comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved our time here and will definitely come back again! 🌸😊

The room was spacious, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, with the shower area being quite large. The room overlooked the fish market, and the hotel is right next to the Railway Museum. It's only one stop from Kyoto Station, which is very convenient. The hotel's shopping arcade has several restaurants, including a famous yakiniku place that's worth trying. The hotel breakfast is a buffet...
Stayed for 4 nights in winter. Didn't try the onsen, but the hotel offers excellent value for money. Its location in Umekoji is just one stop from Kyoto Station and provides direct access to attractions like Arashiyama. The facilities and decor are very new and clean, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and timely housekeeping. The 37 sq m triple room was surprisingly spacious. The breakfast...
This hotel was super nice and clean!!! Very spacious room and it the public bath was wonderfull after a cold busy day!!
Convenient and Good location, just 5 minutes to Kyoto station , friendly staffs and nice view of the rooftop.
I haven’t had such an amazing experience at a hotel before. Hotel Emion may be a 3-star hotel but it feels like a 5-star hotel with 10/10 service from the staff. The rooms are bigger than other hotels in Japan, giving me and my husband space for all 4 of our luggages.

This hotel deserves a glowing review, no question about it! The location is super convenient, right outside Umekoji-Kyotonishi Station on the San-in Line, and next to the Railway Museum. Kyoto, 15 Nishi-Iwamotocho, Higashi-kujo (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Good overall, however a few bits with the room. There is no mirror that we found in the room outside of the bathroom, there is also a window that we couldn’t see a way of blocking out light (no curtain). The hotel was also quite loud overnight, but probably expected due to the location. Not far at all from the station which is really handy. Good value for money.
The staff went above and beyond to help us. We were shocked by the lengths they went to ensure orur comfortability. I would have expected this kind of service from a 5 star hotel. Big shoutout to the staff working in nightshift 5th November. He helped with so many questions. Thanks again and highly recommended.
Basic hotel but the service and cleanliness of this hotel is beyond basic. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The hotel looks newly renovated and well-maintained. The room is good sized, private and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very convenient as Kyoto station is about a 10-15mins walk away. It can be a little inconvenient to push your luggages to and from the train...
Rooms are spacious and clean. The location is great, it’s only a few blocks away from Kyoto station! The staff is very friendly too, and speak English which is a plus
A very good experience. The reception is present till 24 00, so we had no problem with a late check in. Very nice staff, they answered all our questions about moving around Kyoto and where to rent bikes.
We did not have breakfast because we did not want to, so I cannot say anything about it.
The room was super clean and had all facilities we needed. The bed was comfy. GREAT STAY OVERALL!!!
This is a budget hotel so manage your expectations on that.
Reception is welcoming and modern. Staff are very helpful and polite. Will hold your baggage free before check in time if you arrive early.

Very nice. Have separate (dry and wet area) bathroom
This was by far the best room I've ever stayed in! It was really spacious, and they even had front desk staff who spoke Chinese. Good location, close to JR Kyoto station, Yodobashi building, Starbucks and coffee shops
Provide a variety of amenities with excellent quality
Hotel staff are friendly and helpful
The location is excellent, right behind Yodobashi, which is super convenient. You can access the subway directly from the hotel, and Kyoto Station is just a few minutes' walk to the right. If you head out to the left and cross the street, there are two bus stops.
It is a very lovely hotel with a great location near the railway station in Kyoto (2 min walk). Very clean, nice view, wide range of amenities. I’ve really enjoyed staying here
The room I was initially assigned had a window facing a wall, which felt quite claustrophobic. I paid extra to upgrade to a street-facing room. The hotel is close to Kyoto Station, making it very convenient for getting around. Booking in advance definitely offered good value for money.

Great facility, helpful staff, nearby subway. Very well designed hotel
The best Marriott experience! The pillows and bedding were incredibly clean and comfortable. The staff noticed we'd bought our own water and thoughtfully added two extra bottles of mineral water to our room. The breakfast was incredibly rich and delicious! So worth it! My daughter said she wants to stay here again next time we visit Kyoto! Too bad I forgot to take pictures of the amazing breakfast
The hotel is new and very clean, with comfortable rooms. The only downside is that it doesn't have a window. They offer free coffee and a public bath. Overall, it's excellent.
The hotel's facilities are excellent. The room layout is well-designed and user-friendly, making everything easily accessible. Even after a five-day stay, I didn't feel bored. It is located right opposite Kyoto Station (closer to the Kintetsu Kyoto side). You can walk between the station and hotel within 5 minutes. It is very convenient.

A very clean and nice hotel near Kyoto station. Good as a base to explore Kyoto.
Nice hotel, customer staying the hotel can enjoy free drink from afternoon until night
I had a great stay at Hotel Keihan Kyoto Hachijoguchi. The location is very convenient, just right in front of station. The room was clean, comfortable, and well organized.
A nice surprise was the Refa hair dryer in the room, which was a lovely touch.
The room is slightly smaller than the Keihan Hotel in Osaka, and the decor is a bit older. The bathroom and toilet are in one unit, without a separate wet and dry area, but the amenities are the same, still featuring Refa hair dryers and shower heads. Breakfast is Japanese-style, with udon noodles, curry rice, and grilled fish. I prefer it to the Western breakfast in Osaka. The hotel's location is...

Cracking location, staff is very professional and helpful. Would come back again!
This hotel is great, just a 10-minute walk to Kyoto Station. The front desk staff provided excellent and thoughtful service. The room was comfortable and tidy, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. I really enjoyed the public bath; it helped me wash away a full day's fatigue. The buffet breakfast was more Japanese-style with a wide variety of dishes. All in all, I'm very satisfied.
Located behind Kyoto Station, I got a bit lost trying to find it the first time, but once I knew where it was, it was easy to get to. It's very close to Kyoto Station, clean, and most importantly, quiet. I had some time before check-in and was waiting, but they let me check in a little early. The room was clean, and I liked that it had a window. If I go to Kyoto again, I'd probably stay here again

I was very pleased with the hotel room design, comfort and space. The parking is first come first serve even though I had requested for it earlier so I had to park elsewhere for the first few nights. Location is excellent. Staff even found my discarded SIM card and were honest to callback and inform me about it.
I chose this hotel because they mentioned to have parking spot however it was very disappointed. Everyday you have to go somewhere else to park and pay a very high fee. The reception is not very helpful and feel very frustrated. The hot spring is dirty and packed with people.

nice hotel with good refreshment food and drinks. salmon rice served in dinner is very nice.
We love the hotel. Location is not far from all the attractions. Very quiet. Service is excellent. Up to our expectations. We will come back again next time and would recommend to others as well.
We stayed during a busy holiday weekend and the hotel was quite busy. Despite that, it was easy to use the hotel amenities (public bath, free coffee and tea and snack service) without feeling rushed or overcrowded. Our room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again on account of the amenities, friendly service, comfort level, and great location.

A lifesaver during the off-season! This is my favorite hotel chain; I absolutely love the decor. The service is also excellent. It's a top-notch Japanese hotel chain that I highly recommend.

Great hotel, rooms are small but have everything you need and love the way the bathroom is separated by a small hallway. Great location and very friendly and helpful staff.
Very good service by staff, will try to answer any questions you have, however there is a language barrier which can be solved by google translate. The rooms are small but still usable for the price.
This is a good hotel for travel. The Breakfast in the hotel is so good, there is a lot of Japanese food.
I had an amazing stay at S Peria Hotel. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable, giving me everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience smooth from check-in to check-out.
Location was also great — convenient, quiet, and close to what I needed. For the price I paid, the quality and service truly exceeded my expectations.

This is a great modern hotel with good value for money. They offer a 12 PM check-out, and I was pleasantly surprised that they let me check in before 2 PM. The room was quite large; honestly, I felt it was a bit too big and could have been more compact, maybe with a sofa. Of course, that might be due to cost considerations. Anyway, it's a stylish hotel with a youthful vibe, and there were many European...
One of my fav hotels to stay at in Kyoto. Clean rooms, cool bar area,’good food and drinks, nice staff. Good amenities. Had a great time.
We had a wonderful one night stay at MOXY Kyoto, Nijo station just opposite the hotel; hotel has a 24hours bar which is very convenient. There also 7-11 and Family Mart 5 mins from the hotel, also there is a very local walking street which only 6mins from hotel.
This hotel has a wonderful location and excellent service❣️
The hotel is very close by Nijo station which allows easy travel between main locations within Kyoto. The staff is very friendly and the hotel interior has a good vibe and is new. On a regular basis a DJ is performing at the bar and it’s nice to enjoy a welcome drink there.
Moxy Kyoto is a very vibrant hotel and gave me a cozy feeling throughout my stay, especially with all the teddy bears displayed in the lobby. We were welcomed with two complimentary welcome drinks, which was a nice touch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When we asked for a weighing scale to mail our items, they brought out a really old-fashioned balance scale—the kind you would usually see...
Extremely satisfied. The location is convenient, the lobby is spacious and inviting, and the rooms are very modern.
