A very nice and clean hotel, with a convenient location. It is literally just next to Mito station, and there are ample restaurants nearby. The staff are very friendly, and they speak decent English

This is my go-to hotel every time I'm on a business trip to Mito. Honestly, there's not much to say except for the slightly unvaried breakfast, it's pretty much perfect otherwise.

However, since we chose a double room, the bed vibrated a lot when my partner moved, which made for a shallow sleep. Other than that, I was very satisfied

Very convenient location. A minute walk from the train station with shopping mall attached. Room size is sufficient for two big suitcases opened easily.

Nice clean and convenient hotel by the train station. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay with them again next time I pass by Mito.

The hotel does show some signs of age, particularly with the carpet, but it doesn’t feel musty. One area for improvement would be more thorough cleaning in the corners of the tub and sink

I had an overnight layover in Chiba as I was catching a connecting flight from Narita Airport the next day. The hotel's location is super convenient, just a short walk from the station

Wer had a good stay at Sunroute Chiba Hotel The location is excellent, within the Chiba Station thus very conveninent to go anywhere. Room is very clean with all amenities available

Having a 24-hour Don Quijote right downstairs is super convenient. Plus, there's a convenience store just outside the hotel's side entrance

The front desk staff are all Japanese and incredibly polite. The hotel has a charming, classic feel to it. It's currently undergoing renovations, and I'm sure it will be even better once they're complete

The only downside is that there are quite a few touts around at night, with many men and women soliciting customers on the street. It could be a bit unsafe for a woman walking alone

Breakfast was good, but everyday the food is repeated. Cleanliness is great, there is worker come to clean and renew the towel

One bad thing is that the laundry area only has one washing machine and dryer, will need take turn and wait long time to use it. Overall the hotel and service is great, will book it again if i coming Tokyo again

The beds are very comfortable which is also a plus. I'll make sure to look for APA hotels wherever I go in Japan. For the price, comfort, and proximity to major stations, I don't think there's anything better

The standard size bed wasn't as small as I thought, and there was even space underneath for our suitcases. The food was delicious, and the front desk instantly resolved any issues

The cleanliness was good and overall, but the smell of cigarettes permeated the room, which was a bit uncomfortable. The food wasn't bad, and the chicken was delicious.

The location is great, very close to Keio-Hachioji Station, and you can get to Shinjuku directly in just an hour. Plus, there are three convenience stores downstairs, which is really handy for grabbing anything you need.

I have to give this place a shout-out! The hotel location is super convenient, right next to the subway station. The room was clean and bright, and the bedding was so comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud

There's a Lawson downstairs, a 7-Eleven to the right, and a FamilyMart across the street – super convenient! The breakfast at 800 JPY is incredibly cheap, so if you're not picky, you can easily eat at the hotel

The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly thoughtful. The breakfast had a great variety, and the value for money is really high. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town

They offer complimentary coffee and soft drinks all day, which is a really nice touch. It's much newer than Keio, the only downside is that the rooms are quite small

This hotel is strategically located in the heart of Shinjuku, approximately 10 minutes away from Shinjuku Station. It is also very close to Kabukicho, which is approximately a 5-minute walk away

The room facilities are excellent, and there's space for luggage. Breakfast is good, though the dining area is a bit small, but you'll manage. (There are 100 other places to eat nearby anyway

So, if your companions are on a different floor, you can't just drop in on them unannounced. :) Surprisingly, the on-demand video system also includes some 'pixelated content

The best from the hotel is the fact it offers onsen for free in their facilities! A Family Mart and a Donki are in front of it. Rooms are small, but as they are in the APAs

) To get the elevator to your floor, you need to tap your card every time. You can only go to floors 1, 2 (for the o-furo bath and laundry), or your own floor

Whenever I stay in Tokyo I choose this one, close to Kabukicho’s busy night life with fantastic workers and onsen (my favourite part)

Charging to pay 5000yen for a fairly dated gym was the only negative the changing rooms, hot tub and sauna were excellent though! Breakfast was very good pretty sure the omelette stand could also do pancakes 🥞

Excellent and welcoming staff. Good breakfest. Close (10 min walk) to subway and with a shuttle buss to and from Takatanobaba station the hotell is easily accessible. Beautifull interior. An excellent stay.

The Rihga Royal Hotel in Tokyo was a great place to stay. Both the hotel and the room were clean, tidy, and well maintained. The staff were exceptionally friendly and service-oriented, always ready to help

First time traveling to japan this hotel was outstanding, yes it’s a little further out of the main area but there is a shuttle bus which was great

A pretty decent hotel in Tokyo with onsen. Reasonable prices. But the onsen is scheduled between man and woman because they only have one.

For people whom are not familiar with Japan’s trash system, there should be a pamphlet about what’s considered combustible and what’s non combustible so that we can sort out the garbage properly

Conveniently located near Akihabara with excellent transport links. The room was a bit small, but that's typical for Japanese hotels. It was very clean, and the service was good

Location is almost smack between Ueno Station and Akihabara - which is a great spot to be in. There are many shopping and food option within a 3 to 5 minute location

Room and hallways are clean and well maintained but not exactly brand new which is just right if you are going to spend the entire day out and about anyways

Go further to Sunny Mall, and you will find relatively cheap toiletries, a bigger supermarket and a Daiso. Hotel staff is extremely friendly. Always helpful, always accommodating and always ready with a smile

The reception desk were friendly and accommodating. We appreciated that they allowed us to leave our luggage with them before check in and after checking out. Location is near enough to the train station

Not too far to travel out to the main areas like Tokyo station or Ginza station. Breakfast was also included but we didn’t make it in time. I did get to enjoy their free coffee though. Highly recommend this hotel!

I was given a twin room on the 11th floor which provided an excellent view of the town. The room was extremely clean and tidy, no hair or stains found. In the room, there was a washing machine cum dryer

An amazing hotel! It's about a 5-minute walk from Nishi-Kasai, making it very convenient for transportation. Since it was recently renovated, all the facilities are in excellent condition

10 min walk to Tokyo Station, easy check in and check out, helpful staff. They kept our luggage before and after check in/out. Room was small and clean but had a funky smell from the carpet

(I recommend to take a bus at Tokyo station to Narita airport 👍🏻) The main reason I chose this hotel was I can adjust the air-con inside my room!!! Room size is enough for one person with one big luggage (only 1side open) and maybe another cabin size

It’s small, but hotels in jap is generally small. Clean and good enough for couple. Lobby also have amenities if u need, even have bath salt , facial mask 👍🏻👍🏻

Walking into the room felt great because it was bigger than I expected. I had set an alarm for 3 hours, but I woke up on my own after 1. 5 hours, feeling much more refreshed. I then immediately took a shower and a bath

The location is super convenient, really close to the Yamanote Line, and not a long walk from Tokyo Station. The service was good, and the facilities were decent. Plus, you can even choose your own pillow!

I arrived at the hotel at 1:40 PM and was told I'd have to wait until 3 PM. After eating some pudding I bought from FamilyMart, I dozed off for a bit. At 2:08 PM, I was woken up and told I could check in

After an early morning red-eye flight, I spent the morning exploring and was absolutely exhausted. I just couldn't walk anymore and really wanted to check in early

The water was incredibly hot; I had to add cold water to take a bath, otherwise, it would have been scalding. By around 4 PM, I felt completely re-energized

good location , close to JR to metro station , have several convent store near by like family mart . And it is also less than 10 mints to Ueno by JR.

The self-service facilities are very complete. The front desk service is also very good. Help with booking taxis. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is also very good. The room is very clean.

Then they have us coupons for the entrance fee at the park! The rooms were clean and looked modern, although the beds are Japanese style; very, very firm. The bathroom was very small and the toilet was tiny

The hotel is old but very well kept by an army of housekeepers. There are 3 coin washers and 3 coin dryers on level 2 which are opened 24 hours. My room is cleaned every day with new towels and bed sheets

It's a 5-minute walk from Machida Station, surrounded by many shopping malls, though they don't offer the 5% discount you might find in downtown areas. The Machida bus station is very convenient for airport transfers

In a small city in Tokyo, the transportation is quite convenient. You can transfer to Haneda Airport once. There is a JR station a few hundred meters away. The price is reasonable and it is worth staying

This hotel has a昭和 (Showa) era charm; though a bit old, it's well-maintained, clean, and tidy. The room size is quite generous compared to typical Japanese hotels

The facilities are relatively old, but very comfortable, the design is reasonable, and you can still see how excellent this environment was decades ago

The most important thing to remember about the Mark Grand is that Google Maps will show two Mark Grand hotels and one of them is wrong. Make sure that you find the correct address

The Mark Grand is a renamed and arguably improved upscale hotel in Saitama. It's a few train stops from Ueno and there's more than one way to get there depending if you're coming from say Shinjuku or Ueno

I also highly recommend the Railway Museum in Saitama, which is a short 2 stops away. If you're familiar with JP trains and don't mind the short commute, I highly recommend the hotel

The large public bath in the basement was a great way to relax my tired body. I'd love to stay here again if I go to Yokohama. The staff were also very helpful and polite.

What looks to be an old building newly renovated. Comfortable , but not in the greatest part of town and not a nice trek to and from the station. Room was clean and newly renovated, bed comfortable

We were staying in Yokohama for 7 nights. We almost changed our hotel to another but we were too lazy to move. So we decided to stay 7 nights straight at the Hotel Plumm, which wasn't disappointing us

The hotel is nice and not far from the train station. There is a McDonald’s and a Lawson right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. Transportation is easy and getting around is hassle-free

Everything is good just that toilet is too small. Bed bigger than usual hotel in japan. Near to metro. Many eatries around.

However, the sound of passing trains can be noticeable, so it may not be suitable for light sleepers

The location is excellent, with Akasaka Station right on the doorstep. My only complaint was the constant strange noises every night; I couldn't tell if it was poor soundproofing or the fridge motor.

If you're on a budget in Tokyo, you can generally expect smaller rooms. Mine was compact but very clean. It's conveniently located near the subway and wasn't noisy at all

Prices in Tokyo are just too high on weekends. But for a weekday stay, I think this place offers great value for the price, and the service was excellent.

The facilities are great, with a hot spring bath, free massage chairs, and complimentary Yakult and ice cream next to the bath. They even offer free soba noodles in the evening. Lots of local business travelers here

Just realized, no clothes permitted in the public bath, but men and women have separate baths. While close to the Kodemachoo Subway, it does not connect conveniently to Tokyo Station without transfer
