We really liked it (July 2024). The atmosphere is very pleasant, our room had a pretty garden view and the hotel is nicely designed. The kitchen and playroom and the playing corner in the breakfast room are great for traveling with small children. Staff was friendly, the cleaning duo was especially friendly and attentive. I did come to marine hotel without any expectations, but i was suprised! Rooms are nice, very clean, there is everything you need for a short trip. staff is small but very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is also great, there is coffee machine, and there is alot of different meals. 5 stars without a question!

Lovely, quiet, clean and peaceful location just a few metres from the beach. Excellent spot for relaxing, taking gentle strolls and breathing the fresh, sea air.

Great stay with a lovely breakfast for a decent price. The small swimming pool could be rented privately - however be cautious if it has been cleaned after the previous usage since the water was filfy and not welcoming at all. Everything else was fine.

A great place to stay for a reasonable price. The room is equipped with everything you need, located in a walking distance from the centrum and the bus station. Best of all, you get to have a good breakfast with coffee and a fantastic atmosphere included in the price. The young lady serving the coffee at the breakfast was welcoming and kind :) Will definitely stay here, if I should visit Saldus again...

Great place to spend a night. Reasonable pricing and great breakfast included in price. Located in city centrum and all surrounding places can be reached by walking. Keep in mind that over the road there is pub and it might get very noisy at the middle of the night. Ask for room away from the main road. Other than that I have no regrets. I recommend this place.

Very nice place especially if you are with kids. The dinner positively surprised us with the variety in options. Delicious Kvass! Kids lived an opportunity to run around and have a swing before an early flight . We even found an apple tree! Also felt good to contribute to a local business. We were a family of four. The receptionists were friendly, the room was clean and nicely furnished. Very quiet at night, too, didn't hear other guests or any of the traffic from the nearby road.

Ok for a night before / after a flight. It takes just few minutes to get from airport by bus. Easy and cheap. The way to the hotel is dark, but short. If you need to go to airport from the hotel, you need to cross a "highway" to get to the bus. Great place to stay if you have an early morning flight. Maximum comfort for the price and a really clean room. We left the car in the parking lot in the evening and after staying overnight it was good to catch an early flight in the morning. No stress.

A fairly cozy hotel. Pros: secure parking, a main entrance with a digital lock, and reasonably spacious rooms. Cons: a busy road nearby. Breakfast is continental and good. The coffee is mediocre — more for an acquired taste.

Easy to get to, very reasonably priced, quite basic and not new but very clean and quiet. Very helpful and polite staff. The rooms at Villa St. Marie are beautifully decorated, the bed is comfortable, and the small kitchen is convenient. It’s not very far from the train station and an easy walk to the beach. If you plan to be out later at night, the side door is open 24/7.

My husband and I went to Liepāja for our wedding anniversary. It's a great hotel. Everything was clean and tidy. We had a luxury room, very spacious. Helpful staff. We recommend trying the Georgian wine that's available. We will definitely return if we're in the Liepāja area.

Amazing vibes woth proper sauna treatment for body healing. I recommend to have. There was tea when we moved in, all the needed kitchen tools. And if cooking is not in the mood, nearby is cafeterias, shops, kebab shops, etc.

Very nice accommodation, even when it is cold they have good heaters. Breakfast was also good, continental, a bit small in choises but still good. Walking to city centre takes about 30 minutes. But beach is right next to the camping area.

Is there anything better in Liepāja? I don't think so. The hotel is very nice, it has a private parking and the rooms are spacious, clean and with nice furniture (plus: the bathroom is very big and well equipped; minus: the beds are squeaky, so it kinda makes more difficult to sleep silently if you are used to move during the night). I definitely advise you to book at least a breakfast in the winter...

Nice service and very tasty food for the area, where it is located. I recommend the local house chips, green pea soup and shrimps. Everything was superb. There were also some toys for the lttle ones, which is helpful, while waiting for the food to arrive.

This is a room in a private house with a large garden, located a fair walk from the centre of Ventspils. Breakfast is not included. It is clean and the family are friendly. The wi-fi did work, though speeds were slow. Also not all of the lights were functioning. The cost was very reasonable so all-in-all good value for money.
