Shems Holiday Village & Aquapark in Monastir

I sent seven days at Shems holiday village It was my first time in Tunisia I really want to say thank you for all the stuff The bar The restaurant The animation team Everybody was lovely

This hotel is amazing, every single part of the animation crew are so friendly and entertaining, everyday, theres new varietys of food and theres even a shop that sells clothes, food and products for everyday use.

I love this so much and especially the animation crew, each one of them are very kind and entertaining. The shop in the hotel is very good. Stocked up on snacks,clothes and products for everyday use. The weather is amazing and I’m tanned after just 4 days. The food is extravagant with a lot of different variety’s of food. The bar is extraordinary serving amazing drinks from classics to new cocktails and fun drinks.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Shems Holidays! The animation team was amazing, especially Kimo – thank you for your great energy and fun spirit! Every activity was perfectly organized and entertaining. The food was delicious with a wide variety to choose from every day. Rooms were always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming throughout the whole stay. I highly recommend this hotel – I’ll definitely come back again!

Very friendly staff especially eminos and ash. Good for family and kids. Alot to do in the complex. They have alot of activities like volley ball, football, darts, water aerobics, cinema and loads more. Food is ok in hotel but English food is also in complex

We really enjoyed this hotel, we both liked the food served in the hotel it isn’t great if you have picky eaters but we’re not so we loved it We didn’t really drink the alcohol but seen the alcohol being served they looked strong! Only downfall to drinks is they serve them in little cups All the staff were really friendly and the animation team really tried their best with everyone and did adapt their language to all the guests, the night entertainment was quite good especially the fire show The rooms are okay we had an issue with the shower there was only 2 of us and we couldn’t both have a shower on the same evening because it didn’t stay hot we ended up having to keep turning it off and back on whilst showering which wasn’t ideal the cleaners came into our room every day and cleaned which was lovely. Towards the end of the holiday we had a little bit of an issue being bit and the flies started to annoy us but that isn’t anything to do with the hotel The hotel is kind of isolated and isn’t much around but this wasn’t an issue for us as we know our way around Tunisia. The pool and water park were amazing always managed to get a sun bed we didn’t really go on the beach as it was full of sea **** and rubbish in the sea but we were told that when it’s more in season they clean up the beach the best they can. There wasn’t many English people in this hotel but again that wasn’t an issue for us but may be for others Out overall stay was lovely and we do not have any complaints.

Wow wow cannot fault our stay for 8 nights Beginning of the season so aqua park was not fully open but wow the team couldn't do enough and opened the splash zone for kids after a couple of days. We didn't try the a la carte restaurant but that was no problem for us. The food amazing and fresh. My boy would recommend pancakes spaghetti and ice cream. It was great to have a huge selection and variety each night and each meal. When they brought out a whole cows leg flambé we was in awe! Breakfast was fresh and served good selection for vegetarians vegans and meat eaters and fussy eaters. Maids clean daily and very friendly and always good. Kids club ran by animation our boy loved it always engaging with English and French children so attentive and loving. The animation team in all was amazing morning till closing keeping activities going and engaging special mention the A'ch for making Patrick's day showing how behind the scenes was building new theatre area and showing him lights and curtains for our boy this made his day x And a huge shout out to the bar staff especially Riadh worked so hard and always great service. We had a fabulous time and we will be back with more of the family next time and in may onwards when more areas open on site.
