CALIMERA Delfino Beach Resort & Spa - All inclusive in Nabeul

We were very impressed with this hotel and have to say that the staff are outstanding and really made such a big difference to our one week stay. It rained for our first few days at the resort so the indoor heated pool was fantastic to keep the kids entertained. When the weather improved we enjoyed the outdoor heated pool, beach, tennis, archery, Pilates, aqua gym and the many activities the resort offers. There was never an issue to get a sun lounger and there are plenty of quieter places to hang out if you don't like to be at main pool where the animation team are based and where music plays all day. The staff go out of their way to learn your name and everyone was so attentive and fantastic with our kids - special shout out to Prince who really made time to entertain our youngest. Cannot fault the food - there was always something for everyone to eat with a varied menu each day. The desserts weren't to our taste but there was always delicious strawberries and ice-cream. Coffee, alcoholic drinks and branded soft drinks - all first class. As someone has mentioned previously on a review they don't do English breakfast tea (lots of herbal tea on offer) so if you like a cuppa bring your own teabags and use the hot water stations. There is security on the beach and at the front gates so within the hotel complex you feel completely safe. Outside the hotel Tunisia itself is a little overwhelming! We stayed during the first week in April so the al la carte restaurant wasn't opened, nor was the kids club facilities/kids pool and the playpark/mini golf area looked like it needed a bit of a refurb - perhaps this is planned for later in the season.

This is our second time in Calimera Delfino. The biggest strength of this hotel is genuinely the team and the service. All the way from our reservation, housekeeping, restaurant and entertainment, the service was top notch. The housekeeping always made sure that we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The room was always clean. The food at the restaurant is delicious (the bambaloni and pizza dough were yummy!) and the service is incredible. Massive thanks to Mr. Salem and Mr. Fathi for their kindness and, also, to our thoughtful waiters, Mr. Hedi and Mr. Othman for always looking after us. The animation team is offering multiple activities from morning till evening, for kids and adults. Big shoutout to Mr. Rio and his team, especially Ms. Foufa, Ms. Mira, Mr. Prince and Mr. Linco who went above and beyond to entertain our kids. Those people are amazing. Overall, very delighted with our stay and we will definitely come back.

Thank you to all the hotel staff for the excellent care at every step. The food was very tasty, well-presented, and beautifully garnished. From the roast beef to the large variety of fish, and what I appreciated the most was the huge selection of salads. As a pastry chef myself, the local desserts didn't excite me very much, but that is my subjective feeling. Free WiFi was available throughout the entire hotel and even on the beach. I would like to praise the animation team - we didn't have time to be bored. The evening shows were also great. In one of them, my son even got to play a part as an extra. We are left with beautiful memories, and we would love to come again.

Great stay - small pools - improvements needed
We had a great stay at the hotel. We loved the clear water at the beach, the friendliness of the staff starting especially at the reception, and the restaurant staff.
Not so good: small swimming pools, sunbeds booking by guests and facilitated by some staff. Lack of communication about the facilities and services.
Closing on a positive note, the food was good, and they have good capacity management so even in peak time, having to line up for a service or a meal was seldom.

The hotel was fine. Beach was lovely but you had to get there early to secure a spot.

Staff was nice but they seemed to cater to the Italian guests.

Very wide spaces, beach, restaurant. Currency exchange in place. Good organization

The club has now almost reached the level of its former operator, ALDIANA. I had a newly renovated room with a sea view, excellent amenities, and cleanliness. The food was at least GOOD. The staff, as always, was very friendly and accommodating. The only drawback was that during my stay (October 1 to October 8), no banking services (withdrawals, currency exchange) were available due to "technical reasons" (a whole week?).

Third time at Delfino Beach. First post COVID. I feared a drop in quality. Instead it continues to deserve all 4 stars. The only flaw, this time, the indoor pool of the SPA was not heated. It was an important plus for me.

The hotel facility itself is beautiful and very well maintained and has also a lot to offer. Among other things, the hotel also has a volleyball court, 3 pools and an in-house boutique.

The dining hall itself is quite spacious- while talking about the food I need to mention the 24/7 buffet in the lobby which is great for late night munchies 😋-
The food itself is actually really good. There is much variety for everyone.
However the stay here wasn’t quite environmentally friendly, most of the time the staff is giving out plastic and paper cups. I understand that it is always difficult to pay attention to the environment while traveling with all inclusive, in the end everyone has to reconcile that with their own conscience. However I’d appreciate it if there would be raised a little more conscious about the environment here. (Overall it is easier to criticize than to appreciate. I still enjoy my stay very much here and the hotel is still a place I would recommend to my friends)
The service though is definitely outstanding and overall plays a big factor why I rated this hotel so good - even great. Every single vacationer here is taken care of very well. I’m impressed. In my opinion the hotel is also great for families.
In a nutshell I’d recommend visiting here if you want a stress free all inclusive vacation.

I can’t praise this hotel enough. The location is amazing and the animation team are the very best ever!!! The evening shoes and entertainment are brilliant. There is so much talent in each and every one if the animation staff who work so hard all day and evening to ensure the guests and a wonderful time.
It’s honestly the best!!!!
