It was too hot to enjoy the beach, but the multiple cooled pools kept us happy. They offered pleasant complimentary refreshments every 90 minutes. Honestly, it wasn't as bad as some reviews made it sound; everything was pretty good. When I arrived, I ended up booking the only large suite with a balcony overlooking Palm Jumeirah. The in-room facilities felt a bit average, like it hadn't been occupied in a while. However, the other hotel facilities, regular rooms, and service were all excellent. Great value for money overall.

Great property! I would say is if you are going just as a couple, there is A LOT of families with kids even in the pool area around the bar and that wasn’t very nice. There were very few Chinese guests at this hotel; most were from Europe and the Americas. The hotel has a swimming pool, which was lovely for a swim. Breakfast was just okay. One of the staff members at the front desk was quite rude; I felt he wasn't suited for the service industry. He had a sour expression the entire time I was dealing with him.
