Berezina Hotel

Traveling around the Republic of Belarus for work, this was the first hotel in which I felt like I was in the 90s. I was especially struck by the “watchman” at the entrance; the hotel operates 24 hours a day, but you can’t go outside. Payment by card, but the receptionist doesn’t know how to use it, we waited about 15 minutes for her to sort it out, in the end they asked for the keys and went to the room. There is no time to describe everything, look at the photos.

Horror, horror, horror, there are no other words. Everything is broken, keep it for paper, a shelf in the bathroom, none of the lamps work, the closet is broken, the doors are closed with a kick. The mattresses are super uncomfortable, thank you for having them at all. All this is not to mention the poor appearance. The Soviet Union did not collapse in this place. How can you wait for 11 people by appointment and turn off the terminal??? And when they said we’ll pay in the morning, they extort passports?! The law is not written for these people. No one explained where the number is, look for room 4/2 yourself when the rooms are not signed with fractions.... Today I experienced real horror. I want to cry and scream at the sight of all this. If it were possible to give a minus rating, I would give it without hesitation.

Not a very comfortable hotel. Spent the night in different rooms. The cost is low, but in other cities there are hotels with much better conditions for the money. The rooms have TV, no cable. Internet wifi from Beltelecom. The rooms are tidy and more or less clean, but the decor is very dull, it is necessary to make repairs and update the interior, the lighting is very poor. Get ready for the fact that you will have to tuck the blanket into the duvet cover when you are very tired from the road, this is just a great relaxing procedure, most likely the staff simply does not have time to do this. The pluses include the presence of an electric kettle and three towels, and only a glass. The bathroom is clean, there is toilet paper and small sealed soap, the taps, shower heads and ganders need maintenance. In winter the rooms are warm, in severe frosts the corner rooms will be cool. Since the hotel has rooms without amenities, there is a common toilet in the corridor, the smells from which spread throughout the corridor, including the smell of cigarettes. You can pay for your stay either in cash or by card. In general, it's okay to stay for one night.

I will never come here again. I booked a room from 06/20/19 for a day. Not only is there lunch at the reception from 13.00 to 14.00. This is not at all conceivable. Like on a collective farm. Also, the room that was booked was occupied. Although check-in is from 12.00.
I have never seen such a collective farm anywhere before.
