The nature around is fantastic. This is a good place for relax, however the building/rooms are kind of oldish. We were hicking and it was not a big deal. We had some issues with the hot water tho.

Good room for the price. Sadly the restaurant was closed and we have to drive to the town for dinner.

Best hotel for a simply beautiful stay. The hotel had everything we needed for our hiking holiday, and the hosts were so welcoming, telling us a lot about the area. We hope to come back soon when the roses are in bloom and we can try more of the rose treats made by the hosts.

Everything was perfect! I stayed here for 7 nights during rose blooming season. Super warm and nicely decorated historical house. The owners, Nikolay and Dobrinka, created the hotel with a big heart. The guest house is very cozy and is right in the middle of the town and yet it is located on a quiet street, just a few steps from the memorial house of Hristo Botev. The hosts are very kind and helpful people.

Amazing place that I strongly recommend. Though you cannot tell it looking from outside of the house. Once you enter there's a nice yard. It's very calm. Good value for the money as well. The host is super friendly and helpful.

Hotel Alexander is a great place to stay - the owners also work there and everything is made with a thought for the clients. The breakfast is great as well as the food on the restaurant. The spa area is clean, not crowded and it is open for hotel guests from 14:00 till 18:00. This is an excellent place to stay!

We were in the restaurant. Inside was very nicely furnished, clean but empty. Outside with lots of table. There are tables around the DJ desk and around 3-4 at the entrance before the court hall. Family restaurant - because kids help out serving. Otherwise no kids menue, no kids chair, no changing table in the rest room, no toys or anything for kids. The Menue is very divers and all of the dishes...

The hotel it is on the way to be three or more stars. It is nice and we'll equipped. The relax area is well made and comfortable. With a few options. We particularly liked the steam shower and the sauna. It was rather relaxing.

A great place to relax with a group of friends. Each house has two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Plus a couch in the living-room. Bring your own shampoo though ;)

Very nice place in a very nice area. The yard is well maintained and it is well suited for children. The people are very friendly. The amenities are ok, nothing that one can miss but nothing fancy, more basic but good. The food they offer is good and there a choice from menu for each day. Very good overall.

Not the best place to stay but it's fine for a quick holiday. The bathroom is really cold. Bring warm clothes in the winter. No dining available, we had to search for the nearest restaurant.

Its a family hotel with really sweet and polite owners. There is a breakfast included in the price and it’s usually homemade banitza, pancakes (delicious) or smth else. The view is amazing! Perfect for relax. Our room had a balcony and the bathroom was completely renovated.

This indeed is a quiet place. Located away from the main road and on top of a small hill the hotel also opens a great view towards the Balkan mountains and the magnificent Maragidik peak. The hosting family is very nice and hospitable. Rooms are clean and tidy. The food in the restaurant is homemade and tasty. We enjoyed the stay here and will return again soon

Decent food overall, nice atmosphere, the service was OK. I would only point that we ordered fries which were pretty oily. The waitress said there was nothing wrong with them, but the person who ate them had stomachache afterwards.

The hotel definitely needs a refresh asap. Also rooms are quite cold. But! Food in the restaurant is homemade like in my grandma's house, people are super polite and make you feel comfortable, view is fantastic... Having bad experience with so many places with horrible service and bad kitchen during the last couple of months, I really could close my eyes about the old school ambient.

A magnificent view of the Balkan mountain. Breathtaking memorable experience, even from the rooms windows. The hotel is quite old and had been going a neverending renovation. There is a swimming pool, also under reconstruction. The food is OK. Pricing is as expected for this type of accommodation.

Aside from the beautifully made pool, there's no reason to consider this hotel. My room was moldy and cold (no ability to change their heat setting). Staff were borderline rude. The pool and steam room were closed early, opened late.

We stayed here while visiting the Shipka Monument. It's a lovely guest house with a large "living room" area and garden. Very peaceful and quiet. Home cooked breakfast can be ordered and prepared for an extra fee.

The chap who looked after us was great, spoke good English and made sure we had a good time. The food made in the kitchen on site was superb, the breakfasts deserve a special mention!
