Mayak Tourist base

This is not first time I stay here. Pretty good rooms, swimming pool and 50 metres to the Black Sea. Some attractions for all ages. I would recommend to visit it.

Located 5 minutes walk from the bus station and the central market.
The staff is polite, unobtrusive. We settled quickly, at our request they gave us an electric kettle.
The room for three is large, cozy, clean, the beds are comfortable and there is an additional sofa bed. Feather pillows, clean bedding, two towels per person. Air conditioning is quiet, there is an anti-mosquito net on the window. The balcony has a sea view, but does not have a roof, so it is impossible to use it due to the rain and sun
There is a small refrigerator and a flat screen TV. All equipment is relatively new. There is also a dining table with chairs, but there are no dishes at all, not even glasses for water.
The room has a shower, washbasin and toilet, soap, toilet paper and garbage bags.
For five days, the room was never cleaned, but the corridors were washed daily.
The base has its own shop and dining room. In the store, prices are normal, but in the dining room, it is a little expensive.
In the center of the courtyard there is a swimming pool open from 8 am to 8 pm. There is a pool bar with cocktails and ice cream. There are sun loungers and three umbrellas around the pool, under which there are always seating.
The exit to the beach is beautiful, through a shady alley with fir and flowers, but it runs into an iron gate, which is locked at night. While trying to meet the sunrise on the beach, we had to leave the base for the village and look for an easy passage to the sea.
The beach is clean, the view is endless, the sea is wonderful). The base does not provide umbrellas and sun loungers.

July 2021. This year they did not want Turkey and Egypt, they decided to Zatoka. The hotel was chosen on the principle of "near the sea and the pool". We looked through many different hotels and hotels, compared conditions and prices. And we decided to stop at the Lighthouse. Firstly, there are 50 steps to the sea, and secondly, the pool is 10x20 meters, probably. Free sun loungers around the pool.

The beach on the sea is quite clean, which even surprised me - there are almost no cigarette butts, seeds are not scattered, corn swings, empty bottles, torn bags - I did not notice. Has the culture of our people grown?
Entertainment on the beach - bananas for 100 UAH, catamaran with a slide - 400 UAH per hour. Corn 20 each, baklava, pies 30-40 each, fish 50-120 each.

About the hotel. There is a parking lot, in which cars are in three or four rows, but each car has the owner's phone number and the guard regulates if someone needs to leave. Parking is free.
There is a dining room, something like a small pot-bellied hut. The price for the dish is scrambled eggs or two cheesecakes 30-35 hryvnia, second courses 35-45 hryvnia. My girls like food, they say it's delicious.

We are two adults and a teenager, I ordered a suite for 1500 UAH. When we checked in, they showed us the number and, frankly, we didn't really like it. We were a little upset - it was 15 meters, small, with a double bed and a folding chair, which was not in the best condition. Although the room itself is relatively freshly renovated, the bathroom has glass partitions.
The girls at the reception offered us to look at another room - standard. We looked in, and we liked this room much more: two double beds and one wide enough sofa. The room itself is probably 22-25 meters. Yes, the furnishings are unpretentious, but clean enough. The bathroom is not as lovely as the suite, but ok. The room has a TV on the wall, refrigerator, dressing table and wardrobe. And there is a large balcony that overlooks the pool and the sea. At the reception we were given a kettle, a third set of bedding. And in general, the girls at the reception (especially the young Julia) are great! Responsive and friendly :)
The price for this large standard is the same as the small suite.

We've been here for a few days and we like it. In the morning we are on the beach, after 11 we go to the pool, lie on the sun loungers, sit in the shade at the table, drink mojito b / a for 60 UAH and the blue lagoon for 80 UAH.
Then we rest, after lunch we repeat going to the beach. In the evening we go to the promenade area (such as the center) for a walk. Everything shines there, music thunders, all sorts of entertainment, discos and street food.

What is good, it is two minutes from the hotel to the center, but all this central noise in the hotel is not heard, the hotel is very quiet. You can't hear the railroad either.
In Mayak there are barbecues, tourists can fry their meat) Barbecues are free. Every evening the companies gather in the gazebos and have supper, sometimes singing songs. But if you close the balcony door, you will not hear anything. This is also a plus.
Oh yes, all rooms have air conditioning.

In general, in 4 days we have so far a solid positive :)

Although, of course, this cannot be compared with allinklyuz in Greece, but we are still happy :)

We have a rest not the first year in the Lighthouse.
1. It is very gratifying that there is a large pool, part of which is a children's pool.
2. Large selection of rooms of different sizes and comfort.
3. There are barbecues and barbecue grills
4. A large number of gazebos on the territory
5. Own park area
But !!!!! This year there was a double attitude to this object, because:
1. When we settled, there was no specific list of property number. Therefore, there was a conflict over the number of towels. After all, we did not pay attention to their number when settling in, and when we moved out we gave away our towel, because in their opinion we lost their towel on the beach, although we did not use them!
2. For 5 days of rest in rooms cleaning was absent
3. For those with a baby in a stroller, be prepared for the fact that it is a step, and not in one place.

A great place for the rest. Air conditioned air in every room, swimming pool, food shops near by.
