I arrived with a corporate booking, but the hotel could not take the payment without the actual physical credit card, which details were sent by email. I had the option to pay with my own card and claim the money back, but I decided to book another place two blocks away. I did this because the extremely unhelpful and disrespectful receptionist, whose first solution was to offer to cancel the booking. Then, she offered me to pay with my own card but it was too late. They missed a client and the booking due to a problem that apparently repeats often with other bookings of the same type, as she said, and for which they are not taking any action. Probably there is no technical solution for this, but perhaps properly trained staff who can help with kindness and help find ways to solve the issue would be a solution. As they say in Spanish, el cliente siempre tiene la razón (the client is always right) - they should learn this.

We stayed here and were quite disappointed.
The first day we arrived, they checked us in 20 minutes late.
When we entered, the main bed was covered in hair, and some parts of the bathroom were too (we also had a few other issues).
The rest of the apartment was quite nice.
The location was very nice, and the facilities were also very nice.
The rest of our stay, the service was just okay, except for the lady who brought us breakfast and a receptionist with glasses; they were very kind.
When we were leaving, the man who took our reservation told us that smoking wasn't allowed in the rooms. We went out onto the balcony to smoke, and he implied that we were smoking something other than tobacco, mentioning that we were with a minor and that it could be a bigger problem. We left with a bad taste in our mouths because of this last situation. It wasn't specified that smoking wasn't allowed on the balcony, or at least we didn't see it. No one explained the rules to us, nor were they detailed anywhere like in other places. I don't think we'll choose this place to stay again; it's a shame.

The rooms are excellent: spacious, clean, and comfortable with air conditioning. The bathroom is small but well-organized. The dining area is large, bright, and equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerator, minibar, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, and TV.
The breakfast is very good: coffee with milk, toast, shortbread, croissants, butter, jam, dulce de leche, cream cheese, and slices of ham and cheese. Fruit options include bananas 🍌 or apples 🍎.

On the 7th floor, there's a beautiful pool with daybeds and a bathroom.

We had a lovely stay in Kube Apartments very central to the old town and gorgeous surrounds. The staff were excellent well spoken English which helped our little Spanish. They went out of their way to help us with anything and guided us with maps and places to eat. The breakfast buffet was delicious and so much food to choose from. Kube is a good price for what you get we were travelling 6 weeks so needed to watch our money. The room was clean and bed comfortable a little noisy over the road on Saturday night only there was a party but hey your in Montevideo.. House keeping everyday and a roof top where you can work out in the small gym or just watch the sunset and get some fresh air. I used it a lot not many people up there. Safe and secure with a small restaurant in the complex for lunch and dinner snacks very good food. Television which we didn't watch towells hairdryer and a little sink and refrigerator which we used. We enjoyed ourselves here Montevideo is fantastic and we recommend Kube for a great central stay Salude to the staff - food staff and cleaners gracias Matt and Lindsay Melbourne Australia

Gorgeous apartment with bedroom, living area, kitchenette, washroom with hot shower, balcony and hot tub overlooking the city. Also included continental breakfast brought to the apartment. Really clean and comfortable. Had an air-con/heater in both the bedroom and living area. Great value for money.
