What a great destination! The building is getting a little dated but the rooms are very comfortable. The beds are perfect. Rates and food and drink was as expected and a fair price. We will return

I had such a great experience at the Rydges Geelong Hotel. The staff are super friendly and the beds are very comfortable. I like the initiative where if you choose not to have your room attended for that day you get a $10 food and beverage voucher in exchange. I felt really cared for during my stay - I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is my third stay at Rydges Geelong for the Avatar course. It has always been smooth and pleasant arrival and departure. The staff are welcoming and accommodating. Good coffee available from the restaurant. The rooms are in great condition and the beds are the BEST! Seriously, every element of the bed is so comfortable; mattress, pillows, sheets, doona... The whole package! I sleep wonderfully...

We stayed one night for a rowing regatta and found the location to be perfect. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The hotel was close to restaurants, shops and the river. The rooms were spacious and clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We slept incredibly well. The hotel is quiet with no traffic or street noise and we managed to get a lovely ocean view. Good for sleep not for cooking. The only thing in the room is a kettle. Beds are fine, bathroom is very good. Good choice of breakfast.

Has been slipping for quite a while now. I've stayed here many times for business. I am looking for somewhere else to stay after the last visit. The rooms are hit and miss. Last stay had what looked like vomit on the front door. Asked for it to be cleaned but job was poor. unpainted and patched walls In the room looked bad, especially for the price. The two times before that the legs of the tables...

Good safe and clean spot for the price. It was right on the ocean too and I was able to go for a great morning jog along a bike path right on the ocean. I was there for business and would use it again for that reason. I wouldn’t call this a romantic vacation spot but if you’re passing through this is a great place for the price.

Nice rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms madeup each day to a high standard. Grratviews of the bay. Close to geelong waterfront - well nice 15 min walk.

Such a great place to stay. We needed something close to be able to walk to the footy. Our room was so spacious for a family of 5. Very neat and tidy and was great all 3 kids had their own bed. Will definitely be coming back here in the future

The environment is very good and clean, the scenery inside the hotel is also good, and the heated swimming pool is very comfortable. It is worth recommending.

We had a wonderful stay at Barwon Valley Lodge over the Labour day long weekend. The units are good size with full kitchen and comfortable furniture. The place had good quality amenities like clean heated pool and spa, bikes for whole family, tennis, foxtel, frisbee and a bonus EV charging!. There is a children's play area, a lake, birds, washing machines, dryers and kitchen utensils. It is a very cost-effective homestay.

Absolutely loves this place, the staff are such beautiful people, the cabins are well maintained and very clean. The facilities for the kids are awesome!! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back again. Thanks mark and Cynthia you guys are awesome!!!

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family on a little holiday. Kids loved the multiple play grounds and jumping pillow. Pool is also great and warm which is defenitley a bonus. We stayed in a cabin and it was immaculately clean. Will defenitley be back.

Fairly central location. Reasonably priced for an inner city holiday park. Discounted rates with G'day Parks Pass. Staff were curteous. Well grassed sites, plenty of trees, clean amenities. Sites were very close together and tight for manoeuvring in places. Nice hot shower. 15 -20 minute drive to the Spirit of Tasmania. Thankfully the levy protected the park from the recent flooding of the Barwon River...

Front office people friendly. Older amenities but clean. Hot showers with great water pressure. Nice campers kitchen though a bit far from our camp site. Cement and grassed site. Obviously a family park, great for kids with playgrounds and pool. Easy location to get to.

Definitely a nice place for RV, with powered sites, clean water, grey water and black water disposal. A big playground for the kids to play and even motor karts to rent. Toilet are spacious, however, the hot water doesn't seems to work. Hope this can be fixed. Laundry service with dryers for your needs.
