I had a very pleasant stay here, great location and a very good studio with soft furnishing, clean. There is nothing more to wish.

Excellent hotel, spacious and clean rooms. There's a place right outside serving good food and heaps of taxis also right in front of the hotel (well, a bit to the left when exiting)...

Good hotel. The staff is very friendly, the room was clean. The location is great. You can have complimentary coffee in the lobby which was very nice! However the water pipes were very noisy in our room. On the terrace there were three A/Cs, thankfully nobody was using them, otherwise we would not get much sleep. The parking lot in front of the hotel has a very weird entrance. Overall I'd recommend...

Nice hotel, near to the center you can find everything

Good place for one night. Bed is corrupted and noisy, pillows are not usable, in bathroom bathtub was broken, shower broken too, wall are thin and you'll hear all neighbors. There's no such breakfast... Restaurants near are good and this is only thing that saves good impression about Smolyan.

Really nice place, great location and service. The lady on the reception desk is nice, gave us good advices for places to visit.

The setting is lovely, a typical resort hotel nestled in the mountains, next to a lake. The rooms are classic European style, rather basic, but clean and tidy. The surroundings are particularly nice. It's a shame I was here on business...

Beautiful, quiet location, exceptionally clean and well maintained. Very comfortable beds- we had a 2 bed apartment with kitchen facilities and a sitting room with a balcony. Good quality toiletries were provided also a good selection of teas, coffee and soft drinks free of charge. Breakfast was excellent and dinner reasonably priced.

This is an oasis in the Forrest! The rooms are huge, so comfortable and peaceful. The staff are very helpful and speak English well, and the surroundings are just stunning.

A great place worth visiting and personally I don't regret it one bit! The location itself is ideal, if you are looking for peace, great nature and a good starting point for mountain walks. The service from the staff was polite, always accurate and very correct. The spa part was on a level, I am extremely satisfied - a clean pool with enough warm and pleasant water, enough options for a steam bath...

Great place, nice view, clean and new rooms. Receptionist really helpful and speaks English as well. Restaurant has a good variety of options. Within 10 minutes of car from multiple attractions.

The hotel is very good. And the restaurant is one of the places where you can try real traditional dishes from the Rhodope Mountain.

Nice place in a good location. My comment is inly for the restaurant. The service was quite slow. Some of the meals were out of stock, but people which came after us got the particular meals. For me it is not acceptable to have poorly fried patatos in the heart of the Rhodopes. Almost all of the dishes which we have ordered were quite oily and salty. The hotel used to be great but recently the quality has plummeted. Although rooms are designed excellent the maintenance is lacking seriously - especially in the bathroom. The restaurant is managed by non-professionals. Cooks, waiters and staff. This hotel is in the mountains far away from anything (need a car). But to us, that's what made it special. The receptionist was incredibly sweet. The room was large and beautifully decorated with a mountain lodge vibe. Breakfast was also good with many options. One of us is gluten free and I'm lactose free, and this hotel had great options for both of us. One night was too short!

Great family owned hotel! Rooms are nice, warm and cozy! There are fridge, kettle, soap and shampoo in room! Meanwhile you can enjoy sauna and massage there as well. Very friendly personnel and great location. The facilities are a bit worse for the wear, though. The food in the restaurant is delicious.

Personally I had a lovely stay, low key hotel with all necessary facilities. Really lovely views of Smolyan and I appreciated the shared terrace with lounge chairs :)

The owner is rough but with a heart of gold. His sons help out with the restaurant. Everything is clean and the food at the restaurant is amazing and here is the best trout I have ever eaten. 10/10 would come again.

It is in a quiet neighborhood. The room is large, equipped with a wardrobe, cabinets, table, dressing table, chairs. The bathroom /bathroom and toilet/ is not small. Clean. Check-in is friendly and quick. The host is very welcoming. He helped us park the car, which is not easy, given the narrow street. The restaurant was not open, but the host directed us to a nearby restaurant with delicious food...

Decent hotel! Parking is problematic, and the car wash under my balcony was a plus.
