Where to stay in Etropole

The hotel is actually in good shape! Some good old school establishment with the very best traits from the Socialism life! The hotel is actually quite big and I am surprised on how well it is beeing kept clean! The rooms are nice and tidy with all the essentials a person might need. Considering the low prices this is just perfect! Definitely recommended.

Great place! Nice rooms, kind stuff, perfect location. The SPA center is also good. Child friendlt, with places to take walks. Only the central heating didn't work so well, but we get an electric heater from reception. We'll visit again in the spring. 😊

Amazing location and a cosy pool, but that's about it. There were many things like mould and dirt that made our stay not such a pleasant piece or experience. I believe the villa has a good potential, but it's neglected. Also, there's not much of a parking space.

Its a place to stay if you've come to play golf, or possibly if you're on the road to somewhere else. Nice enough, and the restaurant was certainly fine, which is good because there's not much else around. Room was great, pretty big and warm enough. Its a short car journey to Pravets golf course if the main big hotel isn't open or costs a bit much.

Fantastic hotel, very nice rooms and worth the upgrade to the lake view for an extra 20lv. The restaurant has a huge selection of very fresh, tasty food and the breakfast was also very good other than the sausages. Things that left me with a very bad impression were the tattered bathrobes, the broken tiles at the SPA, and the lack of hot water at the villa (at least that problem was quickly resolved by the staff). What a great place! We have always admired it from the highway on our way to and from Sofia. Glad we finally decided to check it out! Nice modern facility with everything you could possibly need or want. Our 1 night option included dinner and breakfast. Not sure if they have other options, but that was perfect for the price!

Great hotel with a decent price, evwn low I might say! For breakfast we had a vhoice between mixed breakfast and omelete- the mixed one was great! Cheese, some jam, ham...very delicious! The rooms are spacious and clean.

This hotel is very good and beautiful place. The owners are very friendly and hospitality peoples. Especially foods are very delicious 😋 absolutely fine.

Booked on site for just 1 night just for transit. Staff were pleasant and helpful, but be advised that they only speak Bulgarian. On the outside hotel is not impressive, but rooms are fully refurbished, very clean, the bathroom is nice and clean too, air conditioning and TV. We could order pizza at 23:00 upon arrival and some desert. Payment with card. Recommended.

The service, attitude and personal touch of the place is great. The hosts were very nice and polite. The only downside for me was the fact that the windows did not have insect nets and the price is too expensive in my opinion.

Amazing place to visit. The staff is aways friendly and kind. The room was very cozy, just big enough for two people and a suitcase. Everything was clean and the bed was comfy.  The place has an unique charm and a relaxed vibe. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

The rooms were big and furnished as much as needed. There was really fun playground for kids. The food was tasty! Also there was a bbq you can use on your own. We didn't try the swimming pool since the water was still cold, but it looked nice from aside. The owners were really helpful as well. There is a path going up in the forest reaching meadows with wild flowers. Perfect for long or short walks...

Well-renovated hotel, in the woods just above Pirdop with private free parking, inside pool, kids center, sauna, private disco/bar, spacious rooms, good food in the restaurant, nice staff.They have a small park with deer. 4 stars, bacause there is nothing much to do in the area, besides some trails for hiking.

Nice, calm environment and cosy rooms. The staff was reduced due to the inactive season, but managed to do well. Generally positive experience, but could have been better.

It was a perfect 3 days stay, nice hotel, at a fantastic location and a room view. Very good kitchen at a native Bulgarian restaurant mehana, friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings, very clean public spaces and a large comfortable family room that would easily sleep 6. The food was delicious, if I had one criticism, it was that there was too much of everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was a big bonus.

The rooms have enough space, the inner pool has warm water, the food in the restaurant was very delicious but the staff was very slowly. The hotel is in the heart of the mountains and you can have a deep sleep because of the fresh air. I recommend this place for a holiday or a teambuilding! Thank you.

Great view, really friendly service (keep in mind I'm Bulgarian though!) The rooms are really warm, very nice and affordable. The only problem was that the wifi didn't reach the bedroom. Something to keep in mind in the winter when you can't work outside/on the patio. PS: bring cash to pay for your stay!

Amazing and quiet place for a relaxing weekend

Comfortable bed and pillows. Large room and bathroom.The heating was on at night in early October which was very good - it gets really cold in the area. It was really easy to get in touch with the hosts. Check-in/check-out was very easy.

Guest House Denis is very well situated. The staff was very kind, they helped us find a comfortable parking spot. Breakfast was also very nice. A nice hotel with a beautiful view.
