Very pleasantly surprised by this hotel - atmosphere, service, quality of breakfast - everything was top! The view from our suite was amazing. The internal swimming pool was small but the spa has many options. Recommend!

Went to check out the outside pool and to get a drink Pool is cool but a bit dangerous ….there is now fence or anything to protect people of falling down The down side is the coffee service I haven’t seen so lasy people ever

The hotel is nice, well maintained, clean. The rooms are big enough, but the furnitures can be changed, because are very old. Some rooms have beautiful view. The restaurant is good, perfect breakfast, good choice of wines for the dinner. At the very center of the town. The spa is nothing special, but it is a bonus. There is a playground for the kids. Overall I recommend the hotel

The hotel has a great location in the beginning of the city, next to the trail for the rocks, with a great view! Rooms are big, spacy and very warm, the breakfast was very diverse and fresh. The spa is the only letdown, small pool with colder water, the stone beds were not warmed, long wait to use the saunas since they fit 4 ppl max. Nothing exceptional about the hotel other than the view over the river Danube. Rooms were clean but clearly haven't had much maintenance recently, bed lights swung around and the bathroom sink leaked onto the floor (unsure if this was intentionally). Water dispenser was located on the corridor which made for middle of the night water drinking unconventional if we hadn't filled bottles up before retiring...

Hotel Rovno is the staple of the city of Vidin. Beautiful view from the higher floors to the Danube river. Next to the amazing park of Vidin. Also its within walking distance of the city center.

Very nice hotel near the coast of Dunava. The reception is open all night. They have a lovely view. I was in a room on the 8th floor and I can see the city and part of the river from above. The room was big. A bit old TV but I'm not here for that. The bathroom was clean. If you have to stay in Vidin and you want a decent hotel with a nice view this is your plece.

One of the best Hotels in Vidin. Very cheap by western European standards. Spotlessly clean. Good private ensuite facilities and spacious bedrooms.

Old but Gold place to crush by

About 12 minutes walk to bus or train station. Hotel is a bit dated, a lot of facilities inside the room required replacement. Fortunately it was still kept in clean condition. Staff wasn't able to speak English, but they all were quite friendly.

Perfect value for price completed with helpful and hospitable, amicable service. Location could not be better.

Pro - Air conditioning works well. - internet connection is good - breakfast is big and already prepared for each person - extremely quiet - bathroom has jacuzzi but did not try it - accepts euro cash payment -private parking across the street, visible from hotel room -price is affordable, even with last minute booking Cons - could do better at cleaning - bed mattress feels old and not very comfortable...

February 2026: hotel is good for the money I payed, location is good, near the Danube river , personal nice, bathroom is kind of too small, otherwise i recomand it . Prices are resonable.

Away from everything. It is a nice retreat. Staff are extremely helpful. And pretty.

Great location, a lot of parking spots. The rooms are good, a little small but perfect. We were with 2 kids, they bought a kids bed special for us, because there was no one left. The elevator and bathrooms are really hot inside, but generally not bad.

I visited the restaurant twice and was left disappointed both times. I am vegan and there were hardly any options for me, but even the food that was available was not great. I tried their beans and they had nasty texture almost like mashed potatoes and very plainly flavoured. The other option I found was tomato tagliatelle, which had some lightly cooked (almost raw) courgette, peppers and tomatoes...

The rooms are small but very clean and stylishly decorated. The AC is tops! Great location with free parking. Would recommend! Friendly personnel.
