Good location, very friendly personnel, good food (huge portions). Rooms are ok, clean, recently remodeled, it seemed, unfortunately can't say the same about the stairs and hallways, which is a pity, really - big difference. And the room windows were opac with the dirt and dust (they seemed like they were not washed in ages...). But if we were to stay in Vidin again, I think we would choose it again...

The hotel is located at downtown near Dunai River. Rooms are good. The breakfast is also OK. There are no enough parking spaces.

Great location that gives you the opportunity to be in the city center or the riverside area and walk on the banks of the Danube river or sit and eat fresh fish in one of the restaurants along the river. First time visiting Vidin. The hotel was pretty nice. The staff was polite and the rooms were clean and tidy. We really enjoyed the rose infused shampoos and soaps. The location is also really good, you are 30-50meters away from the Danube river. 10/10 experience. Bring mosquito repellent its a must.

Right on the river bank promenade, very nice, spacious family room. Did not try the pool, spent just one night. Very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Lovely spacious rooms located looking out on the Danube. So that was special. Saw the sun ruse from my windows. The bed was very comfortable and the girl on the desk was very friendly.

We needed a place to stay in the area and we booked it online as a last resort but we were pleased to find a family place, with warm people who, despite of lack of English speaking or us speaking Bulgarian, were more than happy to help and sort our accommodation. The price was good, the room ready and as promised on the online add. We left happy and rested in the morning.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, inexpensive. For a family a good option. 20 minutes walk to the center and train stations. Minus: due to the pandemic there is no food. No kettle or microwave.

Very nice place good, they serve good dishes with nice decorations, the room is nice and clean and the price is super. The staff are welcoming and willing to serve you. I suggest it.

There are air conditioners but they have a musty smell when running. It is said that there is no smoking in the rooms, and the sheet was burned by a cigarette. It was clean. There are shared fridges, which is a minus. There is very poor insulation on the walls and doors and you can hear everything.

We liked it. The room was clean, had mosquito nets and air conditioner. We traveled with a domestic bunny and had no problem.

Great location, a lot of parking spots. The rooms are good, a little small but perfect. We were with 2 kids, they bought a kids bed special for us, because there was no one left. The elevator and bathrooms are really hot inside, but generally not bad.

I visited the restaurant twice and was left disappointed both times. I am vegan and there were hardly any options for me, but even the food that was available was not great. I tried their beans and they had nasty texture almost like mashed potatoes and very plainly flavoured. The other option I found was tomato tagliatelle, which had some lightly cooked (almost raw) courgette, peppers and tomatoes...

The rooms are small but very clean and stylishly decorated. The AC is tops! Great location with free parking. Would recommend! Friendly personnel.

The location is great. It’s in the center of town and almost on the river. The riverside park is great. They have restaurants, playgrounds, monuments and a nice shaded walk with beautiful views of the Danube. You have a churches, a mosque and a synagogue that when renovated will be spectacular and of course the Baba Vida Fortress. The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning top notch. Perfect...

Nice riverfront hotel, A/C was perfect, pool was awesome. The evening we spend on bar next to the pool, we get nice snack and drinks. On the morning free breakfast was American style, very rich. Am so happy visit this place !

Just stayed in the café: it was amazing. The waitress was very attentive and kind, the coffee and pancakes were absolutely DELICIOUS! Best pancakes in a long time! Also the café terrace is comfortable. Nice!

Hotel Rovno is the staple of the city of Vidin. Beautiful view from the higher floors to the Danube river. Next to the amazing park of Vidin. Also its within walking distance of the city center.

Very nice hotel near the coast of Dunava. The reception is open all night. They have a lovely view. I was in a room on the 8th floor and I can see the city and part of the river from above. The room was big. A bit old TV but I'm not here for that. The bathroom was clean. If you have to stay in Vidin and you want a decent hotel with a nice view this is your plece.

One of the best Hotels in Vidin. Very cheap by western European standards. Spotlessly clean. Good private ensuite facilities and spacious bedrooms.

Great hotel to stay a night while travelling. Breakfast is very good. The neighbourhood is also nice, close to the river. The worst thing in my room was that the shower had no glass or sth to keep the water and stuff. Afrer I washed myself, whole toilet was in water.

Pro - Air conditioning works well. - internet connection is good - breakfast is big and already prepared for each person - extremely quiet - bathroom has jacuzzi but did not try it - accepts euro cash payment -private parking across the street, visible from hotel room -price is affordable, even with last minute booking Cons - could do better at cleaning - bed mattress feels old and not very comfortable...

Very good value for money, could do better with breakfast, but happy to return as I had a nice couple of days in a little apartment with lovely view of the river.

Very nice place with perfect service. Very happy and smiling people. We have enjoyed our one-night-stay in a penthouse room with our two kids. The water was warm and there was a gym in the hotel. Not far away from the park and this means very close to baba Vida towers. This actually is the main and probably the only attraction in the town. We are happy that we have been guests of this hotel. Nice hotel for transit. I was staying only one night. Breakfast is good. I have scrambled eggs. Private parking in backyard for one or two car. Restaurant with good food, not excellent. I am sceptic about the price because we ordered 2 portion of ribs with potatoes and no more than 5 draught beers and we pay more than 30 leva. This is the reason for 3 star, otherwise I can give 4.
