Anchor Inn And Suites in Campbell River

We held our staff Christmas lunch at the Anchor Inn, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. The space was beautifully set up, festive, and the service was outstanding.

The food was a highlight. Our group couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. The staff really went above and beyond to make the afternoon special, and it made our whole team feel appreciated and celebrated.

If you’re planning a staff gathering, holiday event, or just want a great meal with exceptional service, I highly recommend the Anchor Inn. We left happy, full, and already talking about coming back next year! 🎄✨

We stayed here this past weekend for my son's hockey tournament and will definitely be coming back! Our room was recently updated and the beds were so comfortable!! Balcony with ocean view! Restaurant at the hotel was also amazing. Staff is so friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the anchor Inn because of medical procedures I had to get done at the hospital which is right down the street. Laura at the front desk was extremely accommodating. She was polite and kind and asked how I was feeling when I checked out. The rooms were clean as usual as we generally stay here when we have appointments in Campbell River. We live on a remote island on the north end of Vancouver island. It’s nice to know we have a reliable place to stay at that is clean and has great staff.

Beautiful location, all rooms have ocean view and enjoyed the sunrise and sunset. Spotted the cruise ship which was a surprise added during my stay.

Restaurant is also facing the ocean with gorgeous view, server is great and very accommodating, the food is quite delicious! Will stay there again!

The first and second floors are in need of renovation which apparently is in the works. The carpet and entrance at the back was dirty and in bad repair. I got the room at a slight discount for last minute booking and I'll say the price was fair given that the staff were very helpful, the room DIDN'T have carpeting, the bathroom was great and the bed linens were lovely. The best part was waking up in the morning and drawing back the curtains, to see the wild waves breaking on the shore about 100 feet from my room, and the sun on the horizon, hazy through the thin clouds. What a great start to my first full day on Vancouver Island.

The other floors might be post-renovation but I'll take being this close to the parking lot (which was moderately busy but sooo quiet) and so close to the water.

Found the bed a little too firm for my liking and there's only one elevator but the restaurant is very attractive, the menu decent, the prices competitive for the area (I guess). Trying out the spa later this morning.

Hotel is a comfortable distance from the downtown area and only a 5 minute drive away down the highway.

Did not like the swipe card system for the room... found out the hard way that my cellphone was de-magnetizing the card.

All in all I would recommend this hotel, especially a room on the 1st floor

Seems like they're under going some needed renovations. It was nice to sleep here. Views are very nice. Especially at the restaurant. Friendly staff. I would like to see a mesh screen for the balcony door as our room was stuffy.
