It's currently the off-season for tourism in Dunhuang, so attraction tickets are cheaper and the experience is better. The hotel upgraded us to a room at Yijun Hotel. The room was larger and more modernly decorated. It had a smart smart control system throughout. All the amenities were provided, including a humidifier and lotion! The complimentary airport shuttle service was excellent; Mr. Li was very friendly and attentive, waiting for us at the arrival gate—Dunhuang Airport is quite small anyway. Mr. Li served us all the way to our room with our luggage, and along the way, he explained the routes to the attractions we passed and some precautions for winter in Dunhuang.

The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright. The off-season price was reasonable, and the breakfast selection was varied; I especially loved the millet porridge. The staff were friendly, and the waitress in the second-floor restaurant spoke softly. A pleasant experience overall.

The facilities are old and the glass inside is broken. It's not worth the price. The location is better. There are too many options for the same price. There is no need to choose this one. Not recommended.

The room was spacious, the living room was also large, and there were two bathrooms. The hotel's Mogao iced mineral water was delicious. The beef noodles for breakfast were also delicious. 😋
The hotel is also close to the night market, making it convenient for relaxing after a stroll or a meal.

The hotel I booked for my parents' wedding was in a great location, right next to the Dunhuang Night Market. Across from the bus stop, it's very convenient for going to Mingsha Mountain and taking the Mogao Grottoes express bus. I especially want to highlight the hotel's airport transfer service. The driver, Mr. Li, was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it!

Ms. Wang Fang, the front desk attendant, was warm and attentive. She upgraded our room and took the initiative to introduce us to nearby tourist attractions and the cultural characteristics of Dunhuang. The overall layout of the room was well-organized, and the service was excellent.

Dunhuang Silk Road Yiyuan Hotel, received warm and friendly care from the hotel manager Li Hai, and felt that the northwestern people of Dunhuang are down-to-earth and generous. The guest rooms, restaurant and lobby are very good. My husband and I took advantage of the off-season and had a 15-day trip, playing as we walked. We rested when we were tired and were not in a hurry. We stayed for three days. When we left, we were given a free airport shuttle, fruit, yogurt, honey water, etc. The room rate was very cheap. Dunhuang City is very clean, with flat roads, simple folk customs, and a classic night market culture. It offers a variety of delicious food with distinctive characteristics and is 100 meters away from the hotel. You will regret not going.

The room was above our expectations. Brand new amenities, a lot of space and very modern. The staff of the hotel was very gentle and ready to help. Breakfast is purely Chinese.
