After tried so many different hotel in Huzhou.. Dongwu New Century still my first choice in term of cleanliness & location.

The location of the hotel is excellent,right in the city centre..there is In Time shopping mall right next to the hotel..there are many eating options too! The breakfast is very good,but they could include more western options though! There are complimentary water bottles available on every floor which is a plus! It has a great swimming pool and a kids play area too!

The hotel is quite old and seems to have not been renovated for a long time. The room smelled strongly of mold upon entering. I later negotiated with the hotel to move to a different room, which was better. There was mold on the ceiling, floor, and furniture. The room was not very large. The location of the hotel is good, right next to Yishang Street, the downtown shopping district.

Location right in the middle of the water town, we had a room at the back overlooking a pretty courtyard. Spacious, clean room . It’s an old building so sound travels but it didn’t disturb us. We had booked the tatami room but it was very small with not enough room for luggage and the doorways were too low for a 6ft tall person. The staff were very helpful and we changed rooms.

Nanxun Ancient Town is a magical experience and staying at this hotel in the heart of the town overlooking the canal was part of that magic. The rooms were wonderful and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

You are incredibly lucky to have found this gem! A unique stay in a very authentic place. You will enjoy a tea party overlooking the river. And a beautifully decorated and well-maintained courtyard. The breakfast is traditional but hearty. The staff is very polite, hospitable, and kind.

The hotel is nice & clean. The lady in the front desk keep shouting in Mandarin/Chinese where she knows I don’t speak it. I’m trying to use translator but she just ignore it . I don’t expect her to speak English just at least look at the translation that’s what I meant. Maybe that’s the way she do things not sure..

Parking is convenient. There are several breakfast restaurants when you turn right. There is a large supermarket when you turn left and cross the road. Next to it is a shopping mall with Chinese fast food and other snacks that taste good. The hotel is also equipped with a washing machine.

Comfortable stay. There was a language barrier with staff but all were very friendly and helpful despite that. The room was ok - a good size and clean. Unfortunately the hot water in the shower was not working. Great location though.
