Valamar Villa Adria

Very good location, right on the Baska promenade. We had an apartment with one bedroom and 2 bathroom(main one and small one just with toillet). Clean, everything in good order, more than enough for us(2 adults and 2 kids). Staff was nice, they were willing to help with whatever they could. I read some other reviews that some were troubled by loud music during the night, but we didn't experience that. We had breakfast and lunch served in Hotel Corinthia. It was ok, nothing fancy or special, but ok. I mean, don't expect some fresh fish that you find in the a-la-carte restaurants for 20 euros per one dish. Meals were buffet style. The lunch was ending at 1 pm, a bit too early for our taste, but the policy was stated clear from the begining, so no issues with that. The Baska beach gets very crowded during the season. It is basicly packed with towels. So for those who like this... I guess it's fine. For me it felt a bit too much, but of course this is not in related to the accomodation itself. Forgot too mention that the promenade is really beautiful, packed with all sorts of restaurants and shops. All in all I would say it's a straight 4 out of 5. And forgot too mention we had parking included. This tends to be a problem in Baska so I think it's a big plus.

nice location and service

I have been on Krk Island many times, however I fully felt in love in this part of Croatia only when after I have discovered Baška! It's superb location, beautiful landscape and nice beach, it will make yours family holidays unforgettable. Yes, it can be a bit packed during the July-August period but I am the lucky one having possibility to go there also the other times.It makes me very happy when I know that I go to Baška again. Just, booked another stay again!

Very friendly staff, clean and nice despite being a bit old. It was very pricey but we where there in peak season so not strange. To hotel management here are a few things that could be improved (with the things easiest to implement first)

1. Clearer instruction on how to find the reception
2. Start using fabric softener when you wash towels (or switch to a better fabric softener)
3. Switch towels to better quality. The ones you have are more of a 2-star hotel quality. So bigger and thicker towels of better quality would improve the premium feeling a lot. This is a cheap investment.
4. Breakfast selection is a bit poor and not really four star. Maybe it's due to lack of space but you should figure out some way to expand it.

Spacious superior room unfortunately on the 1st floor over the Konzum supermarket. So u can hear constantly the workers smoking in the backyard side. No smoking room but smells like that if u open the window or terrace. The room is elegant and cozy but a bit too dark. Breakfast it quite good. Personal in restaurant really friendly. By colder weather there is nice indoor pool from 9am till 7pm in the neighboring hotel. Wellness extra charge. Sauna for 50 kn for 1 hour. So cheap! The location of the villa directly on the beach!
