Generally it is good. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was modestly OK. Parking free. I would come again.

Service was good- kind lady behind the reception. Location perfect- right in the center of town. Room was nice, exactly as the pictures. Overall the stay was good, we had no points where they could improve. We forgot breakfast was included, so that was a welcome gift to ourselves 🤣

Pretty close to the city center. If you're an outsider like me park on the crossed area. That's not forbidden it's the reserved hotel area - only 2 places. The building is old but the rooms are really spacious. Also the breakfast is ok for the price.

I hardly ever give a maximum note but Hotel Davídek deserves that. Our stay was delightful. We had everything what needed for a decent price. The room was big and decorated in a modern but comfortable way. Facilities were nice. We had parking included. And most of all we felt welcomed. Everyone from the staff was kind, welcoming and caring. I really recommend that hotel to everyone.

This is a beautifully maintained property that we absolutely cannot fault. The room was serviced daily and breakfast offered a variety of choices. Personal, rooms and everything was very good. I recommend to everyone, its good and cheap hotel. And the Women on the reception was really gorgeous. For breakfast was large amount of the different food, lactose free food, drinks and it was in the price of the hotel.

Overall had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. However, I did have one issue during my stay the laundry service was disappointing, the service quality didn’t match the rest of the experience.

A good honest hotel in the town of Trutnov. Our travel agent had mistakenly booked only four of us in a group of five. The hotel was booked to the limit but the friendly and flexible receptionist could arrange all of us into our beds amidst all the rush and hurry. Truly admirable person and guaranteed to make us recommend Hotel Patria to everybody despite their silly patriotic name ;-)

We were here for the Obscene Extreme Festival and had rooms on the 10th floor. Amazing view. Had lunch a few days in the restaurant which was very well done. Breakfast was a little underwhelming, but most free ones are. Not complaining. I would definitely stay here again. I'd give it 5 stars if they threw in air conditioning. The 10th floor gets a bit warm. Spoiled American I guess ?

Myself and two friends had an excellent 4 day stay here for skiing in the winter. Absolutely stunning location on the slopes, top class menu (really exceptional food), lovely, friendly service (all staff spoke excellent English) My only caveat would be that the room was a little small, but overall I would thoroughly recommend.

Spectacular breakfast view. Very sweet friendly and kind staff. Fresh food and loved the home made bread. Excellent selection of wine. Fresh beer. Very warm welcoming staff and extremely cooperative. We had an amazing experience at Chata Orlik during August 2025. The rooms were small but clean, well maintained with attached washrooms. Ms. Zaneta was very helpful. The all inclusive food and drinks package was sufficient for us, and we enjoyed our stay!

I really appreciate the time I had spent here. The service was excellent. The view unforgettable. They even prepare food separately for the vegans or vegetarians. Food was really delicious. If I would live in Czech Republic I would come back to this place for the holidays all the time. You also can come to stay at this place with your pets.

Bathroom is horrible. The shower pan is so small that the water just floods the whole bathroom after taking a short shower. The breakfast is pretty poor. Low quality and not much of the selection. There is never anyone at the front desk if you need anything. We asked our room to be cleaned but we got just the new towels (no cleaning or bed making). Accommodation really nice. unfortunately the rest is not worth it. I was really disappointed. Parking at the hotel insufficient, so they sent us to the headquarters, in the end we still paid for parking ... not included in the price of accommodation for the whole weekend ..... Restaurant tasteful, but the size for 1/4 of the hotel capacity, so there was still no room and there was no place for food...

Wonderful accommodation and perfect breakfast. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna are included in the price of the stay, we really liked it here. The SkyBar on the top floor of the hotel is also perfect.

The hotel is right on a lovely hiking trail, so whenever you go - take your hiking poles with you or a bicycle. I loved that the host also let me check in earlier. I arrived on the bus at 12 and only after climbing the hill with my suitcase realized that my check-in is officially at 15:00 :D It would have been such a bummer to wait there. They also serve an excellent dinner at a very reasonable price...

Everything about this place makes you feel at home. The host is fabulously friendly, the breakfast plentiful, the garden in pristine condition, the dog was welcome and the view just takes your breath away. Nice hotel situated in the centre of the small city Vrchlabi surrounded by the mountains. Rooms were cosy and service was great. Good selection of meals and drinks.

When we arrived, the receptionist was pretty confused, some of the information she told us didn't add up with the information we'd been given prior to our arrival. Hadn't we asked about everything, we wouldn't really have found out much about anything... The room itself was actually really cozy despite a bit older furniture. The location within the Giant Mountains is all you could ask for, however...

Our family has been coming to the Beranek family's place for years and always books all three apartment rooms. Need we say more? A very good bed and breakfast with a lounge and parking. Everything you need is within walking distance. The owners speak good German.

Very friendly hosts, the rooms are simple and clean, the breakfast is very good and plentiful, and the landlady always comes up with something special. The location is quiet, and the car is parked behind the garden gates. It's just a short walk to Schweik and only a few minutes to the town center. A kitchen is available for self-catering.

Excellently located guesthouse with mountain views in a quiet location, friendly and helpful staff, a good starting point for cycling and hiking in the Giant Mountains, new and pleasantly furnished rooms (new building), common rooms with kitchenette, bike/ski storage, parking, several restaurant options nearby in Vrchlabí or Strážné.

I return to Penzion Kozel repeatedly and happily, in both smaller and larger groups. Great location for both summer and winter holidays. I can recommend staying here in all respects.

Very convenient location especially in those cold snowy and/or windy days when you need a shelter, hot beverage and good food. The place itself is nice, big so you have a good chance you'll find a free spot. The prices are high. Beer for 60 CZK. Accommodation prices are also very high.
