Svihov castle

Beautiful castle, shame you can't just wander around the buildings... you're only allowed in with a guide, hence 4 stars. But the courtyard is lovely!

Touchable and quite calmly instead of with nezamenitelnou atmosferou thanks vodnimu of that castle from a large part of the surrounds. Good available pamatka for families with malymi detmi even older ( and pokrocile ) tourists. Pujceni lodicky may be interesting zpestrenim regular visits with.

We were on the Svihov yet again, this time on the animated night of the tour and once again super. Everything was well-rehearsed and in total we had a lot of laughs :-) If you are looking for an unconventional tour of the castle, which will be extra fun for the kids this is it.

Great location a short walk from Klatovy. Castle tour of nice, but I guess us more excited then a walk along the way "green" around the castle. You can borrow a boat and drive through the moat, but too far with her you get him. We met probably the largest herd of nutria like this in the wild living, in the castle ditch them by the number of young people doing really well :)

Very nice and pleasant castle. Inspection we could not test due to small children, but on a boat it was awesome and the exhibition of metal sculptures was also very good. I'd bought something, but I've got kids :-)

Beautiful and the guide were all great ...... but the their as if the restaurant is a concussion .... I'm allergic to gluten, some paper with allergies nothing and when I ask so nothing of the sort we have and that we do not exist .... hmmmmm so yeah ..... otherwise really nice

Beautiful castle surrounded by the beauty of southern bohemia. A pub for a quick drink can be found within the castle courtyard, and yours to see the old castle interior.

Water castle Švihov was build in 15th century on the place of an older gothical keep. The castle offers 3 guided tours - the main castle, the tower and the kitchen. It is very well accessible by car - the castle is just 5 minutes walk from the car park in the town centre. Car park is 30 CZK for 3 hours, castle tour is 110/80/80 CZK. The castle is well restored and has interesting interiors, the guide we had was brilliant - knowledgeable and enthusiastic - couldn't ask for more. There is also a pub inside the castle grounds. Do not miss a walk around the castle with some nice views.

Beautiful and cosy place. Perfect for a bike tour.
