We stayed at an apartment, which were 2 big rooms connected with a small corridor. We had a double bed in each, 2 bathrooms (1 with shower, the other with bath). The rooms were clean and spacious. It looked the hotel was renovated recently. The carpet in the room and the corridor was comfortable to walk, but not sure how it is with regards the cleanness, especially in the long run. Loved our stay there, the renovated room was awesome, the breakfast was rich, very good service of all hotel staff, close enough to the city center. Definitely recommended for a stay in Pisek. The only missing item worth considering adding are safes in the rooms.

Best place in Pisek? Great hotel, excellent room, I had the balcony on the corner with morning and afternoon sun. Nice breakfast and good beer :)

We had a really nice stay at pisek. The check in was absolutely relaxed. The breakfast buffet was really nice and was served on a lovely terrace at the yard. They also gave us permission to bring the bikes inside but we went off season so better always ask about this possibility.

Perfect... Very friendly staff, nice food, fantastic location... If you expect luxury, don`t bother... But if you like it cozy and romantic, friendly, it`s the place you`re looking for!

We came and dine in their restaurant in March 2003, which at the time was a hidden gem. The food was all delicious. They offer a duck dish which required a 24 hour advance notice which I knew about to ask for. The total was under CZK 500 at the time.

Location is really central, facing the main square. Nearby "Soho Cafe" is located, with the great selection of drinks. The room was tiny and bit outdated. Also, we found broken wardrobe door and one towel set for two persons. Unfortunately, we noticed that too late to ask for the second one.

City Hotel in Pisek experienced a wonderful dinner here and was very inexpensive by Western standards at the time visited.

Fantastic receptionist who couldn’t do enough for us. Travelled from Austria through torrential rain so took a chance on a last minute booking to get out of weather. Central location and fabulous breakfast.

This hotel really could not have been much better. It is a quaint and laid-back facility in the middle of town. The room was clean and comfortable, though the bed could have been softer. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was OK. No complaints.

When we arrived, the hotel wasn't crowded, the service was lovely, and she helped with excellent advice about a quick tour around and the restaurant (the food there was super tasty). The rooms are clean and inviting. We do recommend it!

This hotel is right in the center of Pisek, with plenty of street parking around - on Saturday afternoons and Sundays the parking is free. The famous bridge, museum, and many restaurants are just minutes walking...

Nice hotel as of thit part of CZ. But it's far from what can be expected from fashioned place. A lot of damaged furniture, carpet and sofa surface were also heavily soiled. No air conditioning and no mosquito net. Well... at least location is great.

Great place to stay just ten minutes walk from the city centre. Comfortable, warm, safe rooms. Hearty breakfast. Welcoming staff.

Good conditions for the prize. It would have been very useful to have some hangers in the bathroom, because if you would like to use the shower you don't have any place to put your clothes. The rooms are extremely simple, but great for the price. Very comfortable beds. If I'll ever visit Pisek maybe I will stay at Hotel Cade too.

Rooms clean, hotel style "divocina ala USA 60's, 70's", but at least it has style 🙂 Breakfast really BOHATA. Too bad the unused bar. It was nice there

Extraordinary place to stay! Owner is a real character of a guy, speaks some limited German also. Nice breakfast available also! Will definitely come again when going to the town of Pišek ever again.

We had a great stay! The hotel has been renovated since the earlier reviews, and the pool was a delight. There is a gym and sauna accessible as well. The staff was extremely friendly and quite understanding, considering we don't speak Czech. The breakfast and dinner hours are great, and we had delicious food every night. We were also quite happy that we were able to bring our dogs along for the family...

Fabulous cuisine, great pool, helpful staff and wonderful trips around the area. Absolute satisfaction from our stay. We didn't even want to go home.

The hotel facilities are a bit older, but the staff are all very pleasant and helpful and the restaurant is top notch.

The hotel is located in a quiet area on the edge of the Pisek Mountains Nature Park, just 15 minutes' walk from the historic center. The room was clean and had a terrace. The staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet offered a wide selection, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. As a bonus, you can use the sauna, pool, and gym. We would love to come back. The location is good for hiking, the hotel has a pool and tennis court. This part was really good. I found the bathroom disappointing, there was hair in the shower and on the floor, someone else's shower gel - what means they didn't clean it properly and the door of the shower's cabin was broken. I had one of the best beef steaks ever in the restaurant, I really recommend you to try it , stuff is kind service was on point, definitely a I’ll be back again .

Great food. Good prices. We were searching for a place like this in Písek for a long time. The staff was very nice and the atmosphere inside and outside was very pleasant. The selection of food was very good, traditional Czech. Suitable for children and vegetarians.

Clean and pleasant room with air-conditioning that was surprisingly large. The owner was very helpful in difficult situation involving our check in. Breakfast was simple, but good. Would come and stay again.

The hotel acts more like a hostel, before the arrival of the guest it would be nice to catch at least the spiders, there were already too many for my taste, arachnobics would be welcome. I arrived late so actually stayed in their sister hotel off the town square. Rustic but good size room. Substantial breakfast. Lovely town, well worth and explore.

We had an exceptional time. We were greeted with a smile and it stayed with us for the duration of our stay. The view of the river from our room was exceptional. Our breakfasts were great and for our evening meals, their recommendations were perfect. The location is great for sightseeing. The deck for evening aperitifs was a nice escape.

Room was ok, basic but ok but breakfast was not good.
