HORISONT Hotel & Konference in Aarhus

I travelled so many times last five years. Visited hundred of hotels from dog booths to extra premium level, but accidentally i found this brilliant in deep Denmark. You are just the best. 10 stars out if 5

Clean and basic hotel. Good for short stay

Room is small and sadly got ground floor room which meant cars coming in and out of the car park and delivery vans would make the room noisy. Staff are very helpful and Hotel is slight off the beaten track but a tram stop is just a 12 min walk but walk can be isolating as through the green/marsh. Room had a single bed which could be adjusted in terms of raising lowering. Pillow provided was awful and very uncomfortable. Window could not be opened wide so room would get hot and hotel does not provide fans. I was given one used by the manager but it stopped after an hour and they had no other fans. Breakfast is mainly for non veg and eggs and bacon were bundled. Drinks machine had good options but somehow drinks were not coming out hot enough and barely one staff was around as conference facilities meant hotel was busy getting rooms ready. Other breakfast options were cereals, pastries which were lovely, bread rolls (no options to toast), cheese, jam, honey, juices and soft boiled eggs.

Great hotel, friendly staff !
From arriving to the bar to dinner to leaving, staff were so friendly. Dinner was good, hotel was clean and adequate with adjustable bed and only 30 mins easy drive to airport.
