We expected a lot more for this hotel. Checking in, the receptionist was very friendly and so was the bellboy. The room was sober but clean and i have no comment on that. But, we had no warm water, even after it ran for over 15 minutes. The bartender was unfriendly and i made a comment to him directly that he had to learn to smile, that it does not cost anything. But the same went for the serving...

Lovely place where you can relax, have good meals and drinks. Very friendly staff, they make you feel like home. Beach excelente with bars and snacks. We planning to come back with the hole family.

The property was beautiful, there were only 2 restaurants open out of the 4 or 5 restaurants they have listed. The evening activities were minimal during the month of April. The beach was gorgeous and the water was so clear. The property was well kept and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a good stay, the beach was gorgeous, the property was very nice, nice swimming pools and amenities. the food could be better, but was ok, some of the staff was nice but some could learn to be more courteous. I would definitely return again to this resort.

Perfect place to relax. Owners are really good. Really likable people. Close to Aserrado Beach. You can go walking. Not many people go. Beautiful place.

Best Italien cook in the village, very very delicious dinners, thank you! They should make more advertisement in the town or put signs for the restaurant also, because from the street you cannot know that there is also a restaurant for the public and not only for the hotel.

Nice place with pool, restaurant and villa type housing. There is parking available. The decor is typical of countryside housing. The villa I had was next to the restaurant and it's 2 floors. It had ceiling fans, fridge, stove, hot water, but no TV, no AC and no WI FI access inside the villa. There was Wi-Fi through the reception desk if closeby for signal. Fantastic place for my daughter's birthday

Great place to stay and lovely, helpful staff! The photos don’t do it justice. They make a fantastic breakfast and were very helpful with anything we needed. They had wifi available and small personal kitchens, if needed. All rooms were like small apartments or houses, not like typical hotels or resorts. Our room was very clean and the hotel is walking distance to two beaches and the main town area

The casita was basic, but cute and very clean and Melvin the host was really nice. We really appreciated our 1 night sleep there!

domingo and his wife are the perfect hosts that care for all of your needs: they suggested nice beaches and borrowed us a scooter we could get there with. the housing is very comfy and welcoming but the real spectacle is the beautiful garden with the many butterflies🦋 thanks for everything!

Expect basic Dominican Republic style accommodation. We were three staying in the Stella two-floor duplex. PROS:  The outdoor kitchen was well furnished, the beds were comfortable, the windows have mosquito screens, there were fans in both rooms and an AC between both the host was friendly, the garden outside is spacious and green, there is room for parking your car inside the garden, good internet...

The hotel is very clean, but the pictures on the site should be updated. Owner and staff are very pleasant. The place is cute but could use some TLC. There was only 1 lounge chair at the pool (an older one) and a few plastic chairs and small tables. The hot tub was not working. It's only about a kilometer from the beach and is in a good location near great restaurants.

I had my retreat here and it was the best place on earth!! Staff is SOOOO friendly, Angelina was absolutely amazing, it is so peaceful, & the food was so fresh!

Villa Serena is situated in a beautiful location with a small yet private beach. I reached out in advance and requested a specific room if available and was told it would be no problem but when we arrived we were placed in a room adjacent to the lobby and not quite the privacy I was hoping for. Total mind blow! This retreat forced me to vacate all my worries and focus on total pleasure! Breathtaking views, beautiful accommodations, incredibly fresh, delicious ( and nutritious) foods and beverages, amazing waitstaff, eye-catching scenery, beach hopping, extreme peaceful seclusion, and exclusivity...There was NOTHING to want for.

We had a wonderful stay! The grounds are beautiful, with a fantastic garden and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. We even joined the yoga class with our kids—a lovely experience for the whole family. The small private beach was perfect for quiet moments. Pure peace and relaxation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this clean and well-maintained property. The person who provided us with access to our room was exceptionally polite.

Liked stay at El Pelicano but the pool wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. My room was good couldn’t get the safe to work but overall clean. I would try another place next time but overall experience not bad. Beach is walkable not far from the hotel.

My family and I loved this property location, we booked for 3 nights and went back for the rest of out 8 days trip. we will go back next year.

5 ⭐️and I wish I could give more. Amazing and wonderful place. Was there two times and I felt in love. Quite, clean and perfect location. The beach is reachable by foot and the street with restaurants and bars are close to. Would come again and again. Definitely more than 5 stars!

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Las Galeras is a cool town with a lot of amazing beach beaches close by, I would stay here again!

This place is very unique, quaint, and full of character. The expeidia pictures do it no justice. I wish I could live here! I highly recommend it for those wanting to stay for a while. Dominique is super friendly and helpful. The pool is small but surprisinlgy cool, with a shallow area and lights at night.

If you want to get away from the city’s noise without any complications, this is an excellent option. The value for what you receive is outstanding. I would definitely come back.

Beautiful Place and location.

This hotel offered excellent service and the grounds are beautiful. It is conveniently located within walking distance of stores and restaurants. Ocean view from all rooms. Minutes to the beach. Beware of local taxi charging too much.
