Warning to tourists - the men pushing you towards tables are scammers! We were charged more than $300 for a simple lunch and it was NOT optional, not a safe situation. It’s a nice beach but bring your own food!

Wonderful place! The service is good, the breakfast fresh and the rooms are clean with an ocean view. You have the beach in front of you, with palm trees all around, it almost seems it belongs only to you, no crowds and super clean. I would say it's a hidden treasure. Highly recmanded.

We took a day pass to spend our last day in the country and it was very nice. We ate and spent the day in the pools. The atmosphere and location were great for photos. We went there with family and friends and the price was very right. We highly recommend visiting the place with a day pass and if you like it, then go with the hotel portion and stay the night.

Very nice beach. I liked that there were a number of local folk who were enjoying the beach as well as tourist. Great sandy beach, with ample sitting areas (as long as you are eating or drinking from a nearby establishment). Water wasn't too rough the day that I was there.

I went for 10 days with my family. However my father is in a wheelchair and we had booked a handicap room. When we got to the room, it was the furthest thing from it. The room was old, falling a part and a below average sized room. the wheel chair couldn't even fit into the bathroom. So we called front desk, and they managed to find a new room. When we arrived at this new room, it was beautiful....

Overall is decent, with two minor downside, Internet isn't free 10 dollars per day is the fee and only one login is provided, and power outages. I experienced one power outage , while i was asleep my wife told me there were two more outages , not a big deal to me but had to mention it.

A real honest review: This resort is really nice if your trying to have a chill week. The rooms are exactly what the photos on the website look like, the food is a huge buffer with a lot of selection. My stay here was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious, the room services were great, beach was great, and it was an overall fantastic experience. The staff was the key! Everyone here was so nice. The food was good and the grounds themselves were beautiful. The inclusive bar was a bit deceiving because there didn't seem to be much available but it was okay.

The bar was okay, I didn’t use the spa. I don’t know why they put me away from the group that I formed. Everybody was in the same place. I was not allowed to visit them. All of them used a black cord and mine was purple.

Holes in the roof. Inside the property and on the balcony. Internet was turned off at 8am on the day I was leaving. Rooms were fine and well furnished just needed to walk around puddles.

Great staff, Miguel was awesome. Across from the beach. Near restaurants and convenience store. The room had a fridge and stove. Kitchen and furniture need an update ASAP. Also need to enforce rules at the pool. When locals arrive there’s no more peace and quiet, they take glass bottles to the pool putting in danger everybody else. They also turn on loud speakers with no regard to other guests.

The location is perfect, the service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was phenomenal. But I don't recommend the beds; my back is still sore from how hard they were. But afterward, everything was great. We just couldn't rest.

Rooms work but they can definitely be better, for the same price you can find better options near the location. Service is good and location is honestly priceless. Food is great, but pool should be cleaned more often, it always had lots of debris, insects and dirtiness, it had a strong chlorine smell.

The ocean was visible from our deck. The furniture was a bit worn but the bed had a nice mattress topper so we slept well.

Very good family experience and not far from airport, or santo domingo for those that want to venture into the city, or bring your family over.... it is a good retreat for resting, the food is dominican, and it is in the best spot in the boca chica beach.

The staff are friendly and the pool and beach are clean. My room was large and comfortable and the food has been some of the best buffet style hotel food that I’ve had while visiting Santo Domingo. Unfortunately, the hotel seems fairly outdated and my bathroom was dark and needed repairs.

The hotel is very old. The photos on the website aren't accurate, and the rooms smell strongly of damp. Everything is very neglected and rusty... I didn't take many pictures, but they're enough to show you. The area where it's located isn't nice either, but overall, I think Boca Chica is pretty run down.

Most of the staff were friendly. Security knocked on my door at 6am when my taxi to the airport arrived. Rooms are okay if not a little overpriced. Bed, TV and Aircon all good. The bathroom door was hanging off one hinge so not great for easily opening/closing. Location is good, a 5 minutes walk to supermarket.

The breakfast was really food, pancakes were really fluffy. The room was comfortable and spacious. The thing I did not like was that we did not get hot water. Good amount of restaurants to eat from near by. The beach was walking distance, with shallow and clear blue water. Did not like the amount of vendors at the beach.

Make sure you check everything before excepting to sign and take key..go with staff to examine condition of room.

Warning: They cut the water on the overnight around 2 am, be ready to deal with that. Is clean but not for folks or picky people .

Cons: if you are picky then dont come, but rooms are 100 % clean

At first you may go back away once you arrive and see in person the building, and when get to the lobby and climb stairs you may say omg what a mistake this , but if decide stay u may get used after 2 or 3 days. Dont pay upfront if you are picky.

The other reviews saying you must go outside to the side to go to the restaurant/beach/pool is true so I might avoid the busy weekends. But overall the experience was great thanks to the friendly staff and good food + drinks at the restaurant. (Worth paying for vs all inclusive IMO) There is also staff watching over your things at the beach front when you’re swimming so it feels safe.

Great Juneteenth stay The location of the stay was perfect, literally steps from the beach--we were thankful for that. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff is A-1. The only problem I can say there is with the place, is the size of the beds. If you're on the smaller side, you have nothing to worry about. But if you're on the bigger side and plan on sharing a bed, you better choose a bigger bed

Nice, clean hotel close to the airport (less than 10 minute east drive). Nice breakfast, friendly staff. The rooftop pool was a nice surprise!
