Where to stay in Jyvaeskyla

Shower was a tad small, otherwise a nice, quiet, tidy room. Breakfast was really good at least for my Finnish taste.

We stayed in this place only for one night but we loved it: rooms, people at the reception, breakfast. We will definitely recommend this hotel.

Very Nice Hotel in Jyvaskyla. The Service was Great,it has a Sauna, gym and the Food is Quite Nice. The Rooms have everything you Need in there for business travels.

Expensive, like most hotels in Finland these days. Clean and modern rooms. Great breakfast! Parking is sparse at the hotel, so we parked at the Sokos park house about 2 blocks away.

Great place tö relax and rest. Good service, a lot to choose for.breakfast, also good set of gluten free choices. Cosy and clean sauna with thick towels and linnen pamphlets.

It is so accessible from the train station and close to downtown. The walk to university campus through downtown was good, too. We had a great stay!

Delicious and varied breakfast. Be aware they stop offering the buffet at 9.30 am (weird). Comfortable, super clean bedrooms, Two blocks from bus and train station. If they could only change the weather!

LOVED the deep bathtub! Excellent breakfast offerings and good quality food. So much delicious variety! Everyone is super friendly and the location is good for walking to dinner. We dined at Bella Roma nearby, which was also a very good experience.

Stayed Sat-Sun for one night. Very good breakfast although nothing remarkable. We enjoyed it a lot and ate our tummies full. No specialty coffees available but mini croissants, pancake squares, fruit, smoothies, scrambled eggs and all the necessities made the best hotel breakfast in a while. Glutenfree mini pancakes were available by request! Very good service at the front desk. Positive attitude...

It was a great property. It does not have easy access for the front desk as you can not drive up to drop off bags. But it is a great location, the staff were very friendly, and the room and beds were comfy. The hotel parking wasn’t very well organized either.

What used to be a family home for a well renowned global manufacturer of leather apparel, now transformed to a modest family run hotel sitting on the banks of the river. The staff very friendly, an ample breakfast spread. And a desired good night sleep after much driving. What it lacks in mod cons is more than made up with tradition and interest.

Amazing location and the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The room (with ensuite sauna) was wonderful as well. My only complaint unfortunately is something that made a big difference in how we felt: We were there for our wedding weekend and this was not acknowledged by the hotel at all. I mentioned it in our reservation and I checked into the hotel in a wedding dress, holding a bouquet of flowers...

What a beautiful hotel. We loved our room with a sauna. It was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The only negatives were the sharp doorhandle and the loud bathroom door. breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. We loved the variety and freshness of the products. Best location in the city! Definitely worth while for a visit. Location is as central as you can get, all shops, restaurants and services nearby. Rooms are good, staff is excellent and breakfast was high quality. There were many people coming in the morning just to have breakfast with friends. Breakfast room was little and crowded, but good. Maybe some noise cancelling materials to walls and ceilings...

The hotel's public areas and breakfast room are clean and well maintained. The room is also very clean and functional. Everything you need is there and the ventilation works flawlessly. The bed is very good. The furniture is naturally a bit modest, but practical and completely sufficient, since the purpose is mainly just to stay. The staff is very friendly and service-oriented👍🏻

Everything else was excellent, but it was a bit disappointing that there were no TV channels in the room. We received a personal surprise upon my request and the trip went smoothly. The customer service was great.

Is very green hotel no plastic found. The position Is only 500 MT from the center.The people are helpful and kindly. The breakfast are minimal not tò much thinghs tò choice. The room are ok but no space no chair available, and the bothroorm Is very small.

This is a delightful little gem, perfect for families. The property has a great restaurant, a wonderful buffet breakfast, and superb pool, hot tubs, and saunas. I also has wonderful entertainment possibilities, with ping pong, pool table, and even a little bowling alley.

Amazing hotel in every way! I could write a 500word story about how great this hotel is, it was the first time for me and my colleague in Jyväskylä and we could not have found a better hotel! WOW! in every aspect! But I don't have time to write that much right now, so I just say.. THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!

This hotel has an 80s feel to it. It looks like an old bunker and tthe rooms are also... Well vintage. Good breakfast!

To those who go to this hotel, I recommend you to take bus or car and not try to walk since the hotel is located above a steep hill. Don't be fooled by the outside look of the hotel. Though it might look very glim and boring on the outside, it's certainly refreshing inside. It has amazing spa at night, bowling hall, and bar is also available for the night, although it closes fairly soon.

Location was good. But I don't like that I need to drag my luggage through an underpass to my room at another building.

A Private Sauna! We booked a room with a private sauna and LOVED it! The room was large and comfortable and will be a highlight of our trip.

It was ok, nothing special. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was ok but maybe 200€ was a bit much for the type of room. Breakfast was tasty.

Very close to Jyvaskyla station, friendly service, good breakfast, clean and comfortable room. The gym isn't great - old equipment. But there's an awesome 24/7 gym across the street at a good price.

Good hotel location in the center of the city within a short stroll to shopping (Forum, Sokos) and restaurants. Our room though was at the other wing accessible only via a tunnel at level 'K'. Room size is standard size, not particularly large. There is an iron room to wash and dry clothes. The pool and sauna are accessed along 'K' level while the gym is at the annex we stayed at.

Absolutely surprizing experience Hotel in great location, situated on the shore of Jyväsjärvi lake in the middle of university campuses. 20 minutes from local airport. Very comfortable and practically furnished rooms with an excellent view of the lake (I recommend choosing a room with a private sauna, it's really worth it). Good breakfast, the hotel restaurant is also good. What is really brilliant...

Beautiful boutique hotel near the city centre. The room booking included a free one hour sauna session ( what a beautiful spa like atmostphere) and a welcome drink at the wine bar. Rooms are clean and unique. The breakfast was the star of the stay. Great variety of food with also non traditional options. Loved the stay!
