Nice camping. Houses with lake views. We had Superior house for 4 just on lake beach with small private sand beach and possibility to use boat for free. Enjoyed and recommend.

Decent choice for a budget traveler. The Economy cabins are quite old and not very tidy, but hold all the basic necessities except running water. Location is good.

Area itself is very cozy, peaceful and wonderful. There is a clear water lake. We enjoyed the stay. Only minus is foreign "process-oriented" receptionist who wants to take it his way. No room to ask. Cafe atmosphere there was not welcoming.

I really liked the position of this camping, and of course it was more than quiet in mid September. Right in the forest with very pretty lakes and lots to do, also nice forest walks. The sanitary facilities are a bit 'rustic' and were very cold. Also only one kitchen area. Both of these were some way from the caravan part. Having said that, I would recommend it if you're not too 'precious' about...

We stayed for 1 night in a cabin with a sauna. It was ok staying. Cabin was a bit cold and it took a while to get it warmer. Cabin was good equipped, microwave oven was a nice surprise and sauna was very good. Area was a little bit rugged as the cabin was too, but the staff was very friendly. It was a good value for the money and i could stay here again.

Room was great ,clean with good facilities breakfast was excellent there is some room updates being done and on going Renovation

Overall a good stay, nothing fancy but not bad either. Rooms were quite outdated and I wouldn’t call it rustic. Good breakfast.

We were upgraded on arrival and the room was brand new. Beautiful room, decoration, quality linen and towels. Good breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay!

Maybe 3 1/2 stars. Old-fashioned, has seen better days but clean, friendly staff, good breakfast choices, and the breakfeast area is nice and spacious. No a/c, but that would be required only a few days during the year. Didn't spot any elevator for customers.

Nice and clean, but needs some renovation. Rooms are quite small, worn out and basic. Friendly stuff.

Pricey to stay, really 50-60's (not retro... everything original from that time :) ), but no other choice if you have to stay in Äänekoski.
