Conveniently located close to restaurants and grocery stores. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant is very good. The room has a fridge and there are microwaves in the common area.
Little options for breakfast. And main ones are omelette (which was smelly every day) and porridge (that is made with water, not milk, and has a weird smell / taste as well). Gym is little, best you can do there is cardio. In general okayish, but it must be a 3-star hotel, not 4-star as declared.
Decent hotel, but disappointing value for the money. No shampoo/lotion/conditioner in the bathroom. No drinking water in thebroom. Empty minibar. Curtains don't keep the midsummer light out. The hotel was definitely not booked out but we received the room with boring views out on the parking lot behind the hotel. The indoors pool is more decorative. Great saunas, good breakfast.
Nice middle class hotel. Spacious rooms with Rituals shampoo & conditioner. Breakfast offered nice options for different tastes. Liked the atmosphere during breakfast. Friendly staff all over. Location very convenient for exploring Tornio.
Had a really pleasant stay at the hotel. The service was really friendly, room was big and clean. Breakfast was amazing, better than most other hotels we've been. Will definitely stay here again!
Not bad, not wow. As written, 3 star hotel, 3 stars well earned. Fun part-Had to pay for parking MC for 5 euros (first time in my life) , when the rest of the world offers free for MC, at least outside the street under trees. Very nice old style hotel. It is very good condition and all were new inside.
Excellent hotel...superb location and very warm and helpful staff. We requested vegetarian food and they helped us with it. The receptionist us with our bags and also with the rooms. Very nicely appointed rooms and well lit. For us Indians it is a place worth staying. For a small town in Finland the service we got was excellent.
We arrived quite late and the staff were very accommodating (even taking us to our room). Information was clear about breakfast, check out, and local transport. The room itself was lovely - comfortable bed, warm shower; they even had bathroom products by Rituals which felt very fancy. It was reasonably priced and perfect for our stop over. Lastly, the breakfast was good - a fair few vegetarian options...

Best b&b in town, affordable and welcoming.
Good beds. Easy access from the center of the city. Clean rooms. Cheap.
As it says in title B&B, you get bed and breakfast. I asked for milk/lactose free breakfast but was given margarine containing milk protein and little lactose and I was in pain for the next two weeks. Friendly staff and clean rooms. If you suffer food allergies ask to check breakfast ingredients beforehand.

Great spot, nice city. Be sure to have your European camping card on you for quite some discount.
Tenting ground was very wet after rain but the cottage was fine.
Great campsite, good toilets, great showers and sauna. Staff helpful, pitches large. Hired bikes and cycled to the town centre which was lovely. Great value for money, decent campsite.

Friendly staff, superb breakfast, free and easy to access parking (also a possibility to charge an electric car), cozy sauna and pool. Perfect stop on our way from North Norway to Helsinki.
Stayed at Kemi for Icebreaker experience. I have chosen Scandic Kemi, furniture in the rooms are not modern, bathroom is not welcoming and I did not want to take a shower. Beds were clean, temperature of the room was not adjustable, it was enough for cold winter but I prefer if it can be increased. Breakfast was nice, there were plenty of food options.
Nice stay at Kemi Scandic in Ski week. Couldn’t use pool because of cold water(around 20 degrees) but sauna and breakfast was nice. Illumination inside rooms could be enhanced to feel more lively rest everything was fine. Reception staff were welcoming. It is located around 1 km from railway station and there are few markets/shops at walking distance. Snow castle is around 1.5 km but that’s also walkable
The front desk manager lady was very helpful and professional and made our stay pleasent. The rooms are plane but nice and clean. The food at breakfast and dinner was quite good too.

The people whom I dealt with here were quite pleasant, and the prices are good. The bathtub in my room was satisfyingly deep and the water pressure was fantastic.

A nice hotel with good breakfast. My family of 4 adults were enjoyed our 2N stayed there. However, there are rooms for improvement on the room door key system and the lift. They are too old and inconvenient to use in today’s environment. Even thot it is functionally working. A hotel built from ice Inside the building is a room with an ice bar, each room is decorated in different styles. According to cartoons or stories, there is also a church that was built and designed with ice skates inside with a large slide courtyard. The theme of the castle changes every year. The hotel is overpriced if you stay overnight. But during the day all the rooms are open to visitors. You can lie down and take pictures.

Renewed by new owners. Clean and good beds, room 302 has a small sauna, which was a huge plus when returning from kilpisjärvi. Breakfast was also a bit better than the norm.
