Idyllic setting for this lodge. Beautiful view of the lake from the cabin. Fabulous swimrun course to Petri island. Very hospitable host who brought us smoked fish and apples.

Awesome place! Lots of things to do (water sports and lake activities). The host family are super nice and welcoming. Would definitely come again!

We stayed for one night in August, in the basic cottage. Cottage was not perhaps the most luxurious as such but still more than enough for our purposes. Location is nice, very easy access from the highway and one could also reach this place via railway. Walking distance to the famous Punkaharju Ridge. Dinner and breakfast in the main building was very good, would certainly stop just for eating...

Stopped here for a night on our Finland tour and found it a wonderful oasis of peace and natural beauty. We hired a cabin and took advantage of the sauna and had a swim in the nearby lake. The cabin was pleasant but we didn't use the kitchen but had our meals at the restaurant which was good and very good value for money. We stayed 2 night in this holiday resort. We had our own residence that was a bit outdated but we alreary were aware of it. Our residence had an own sauna that was nice. We were able to drive with our own car just near to the residence so it was easy to move luggages inside. We also needed to have our own beddings with us. Skiing on the ice was wonderfull. Food at the restaurant was good and cabin fullfilled our expectations.

Really great summer and winter place. We visited here for a day last summer (2021) and decided to spend our winter holiday (2022) here. Loads of winter activities, great cottages and service.

Wonderful camping. Camping itself is quite big. You can choose to live in apartment, villa, small og big cabin, tent or park a camper. Shared kitchen and wc/douche are clean and big enough. Camping offers free sauna every morning which we enjoued much. You cal also find a private beach and orhet places where you can swim in the lake. Mojority of cabins have a lave wiev. Probably one of the few options in this area. Clean and no frill. Price is ok in Finland standard.

Opens at 8:30 and has a play area. A real lifesaver for the rainy days with a toddler

We have 4 beds camping summer house. Located just next to the lake. Beautiful. The house has two bunk beds. So it's really only for kids. Refrigerator, microwave and some cupboards in the house. The beds' size are smaller. One of the upstairs bed is much smaller. The house is clean. We rent the bedsheets and towels for €13 pp. There are some spots we can swim on the lake. A car can be parked easily...

Nice calm place, maybe more suitable for families with children

This was the scond time in the historic building of Villa Urhola. We really like the rooms that have the "villa feeling", high ceilings etc. This house is a completely different case than the main building of Kruunupuisto that is a huge rehab center. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the surroundings nice and one can swim in the lake both on the beach and at the nearby ferry pier. ...

The setting was beautiful. From my balcony I looked over lawns and the lake. The grounds are large and have lake access, a pond, a sensory garden and a great little cafe serving waffles. They lead onto a trail which takes you to the lovely art centre and forest museum at Lusto. The layout of the interior shows clearly it was a former hospital, but it's given charm by the old photos, tiny lounges...

A nice experience and, above all, an elevating experience. Unique nature and an old sanatorium building, where guests were welcomed with a warm attitude even at midnight. Fresh strawberries with oatmeals.
