Where to stay in Oulu

We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back! Loved using the bikes, sauna, playroom and more. Excellent location and beautiful room.

We had a lovely staycation here with Kids. Junior Suite with a jaquzzi was super, modern and big! One of the best breakfast spot in Oulu. Really nice staff. Amazing playground for Kids downstair. Super sauna-area and gym. Best hotel in Oulu with excellent location!

We had nice stay, hotel room was tidy, comfortable and modern. Breakfast buffet is simple but nice selection and fresh food was added throughout breakfast.

I've stayed here many times. The rooms are decent, and the breakfast is a standard European breakfast. It's right in the city center, so it's very convenient to get around. Parking costs €16 per day; remember to tell the front desk when you arrive, otherwise you'll get a parking ticket.

Comfortable environment, comfortable bed

It is quite convenient for business travel, the room is clean and tidy, and the service is OK. The price in Oulu is still quite expensive.

We stopped overnight at the Radisson Blu in Oulu during our road trip. We got a parking place for our car in front of the main door, there were also parking spaces for hotel guests in the hotel's backyard. The reception staff was most friendly. A basic, odorless and tasteless hotel. Quite clean, good service and in a good location, but nothing special. Basic sauna in the basement, with a bad heater.

The hotel was nice. A convenient walk to shopping malls and pubs. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good! Great selection.

A few tweaks would be good though: it would have been nice to have a kettle for tea/coffe and the bin in a bathroom was broken and it was odd that the cleaners hadn't spotted it. Very tight room. Air conditioning in the hotel hallways, but none in the room. Parking somewhat inconvenient around the corner and paid for separately. Staff was nice and breakfast decent.

Spa department is not that modern anymore, for example there is no cold water pool, but if that isn’t a big deal for you, this is a good place to go and spend a weekend. Breakfast is generous. Vicinity of the sea is a good bonus.

Small but otherwise nice spa, excellent gym which opens early enough, 5 am. One minus point for the fact that the hotel would seem to need a bit of renovation.

Had an amazing experience at this place. We stayed here for 7 nights. The view of the city's hustle and bustle was beautiful from our apartment window. We had booked for an included breakfast package, which was super convenient for us. They had a nice variety of delicacies to offer at breakfast time. The rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are convenient to sleep in. Everything I needed was there. Keyless entry system worked smoothly for me. I also liked the location. The only reason I did not give 5 starts is that I don't like the bathrooms too much. The automatic light keeps switching off, there is a slight smell from the pipes and the whole bathroom seem like it was added to the room long after...

The best hotel in Oulu I've lived in Oulu and visit it around two times a year, and I can vouch that this is the best hotel in the city. Beautiful location right next to the city center. Modern hotel in a fantastically remodeled former hospital. The hotel did not get 5 stars because the breakfast was just "standard."

My room was situated directly above a late-night karaoke bar, which was part of the hotel. At 4 a.m., I was awakened by a drunken and off-key rendition of Eric Burden and the Animals' "House of the Rising Sun." The only criticism is that there were 2 pieces of tea bag ..if you arrive late...take something to drink with or you use the bar downstairs or walk to the shop...

For the location, price and rooms I really have nothing to complain. Breakfast was one of the best I've had for this price, very diverse buffet table. We had sauna in the room even for the same price as without sauna and of course we had to go for it. When was the last time you had morning sauna in your hotel?

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast. I would highly recommend these cottages for anyone staying in Oulu.

We camped here with our camper van one night from our trip from Norway. The place is pretty neat.
