Camping Sol y Mar in Argeles-sur-Mer

The campsite could be greatly improved.

There's a lack of atmosphere; music could be played all day at the pool and along the campsite walkways.

The activities are poorly planned (for example, the fair at 4:30 pm with the inflatable games in full sun could be rescheduled).

The playground isn't lit in the evening, so children have nothing to do after 10 pm, and given the heatwave, evenings are the most pleasant time to be outside.

The evening pool activities were great but not suitable for children who aren't strong swimmers; there's too much movement in the water and little supervision.

It's a shame there isn't a pool suitable for children between 3 and 8 years old (just one meter deep, so they're comfortable). There is indeed a large paddling pool for babies, but it's always empty, as it's too small for children over 3 years old (it's the largest pool in terms of size, which is a real shame).

The main pool at the far end is too deep, so we had to constantly warn the children to keep them from going to the bottom on their own.

There should be bins in the walkways.

As for the staff, they are fantastic and dedicated to their work, whether it's the reception staff, the activity leaders, or the maintenance staff!

I won't be returning for all these reasons, but I still had a pleasant holiday, and I would recommend this campsite to seniors or families looking for peace and quiet.
