Le Jardin d'Emile in Cassis

The rooms are quirky and small but very clean. Lots of stairs if you have big bags. The big plus here is location - opposite a nice (pebbly) beach and on the track to the Calanques if you want to do the walk. The other big plus is parking - almost impossible in this part of Cassis - its tight but it works. Breakfast is an extra and OK if a bit pricey but as part of an overall package this is very good value. Would stay again.

Mixed feelings about this one. Good points- location! Amazing. Close to town, opposite the very nice beach, great swimming and snorkelling, fantastic view, parking provided. Room was large and fairly nice. Jean is awesome. Bad points- hard to use our balcony because there was always someone chain smoking on the one below, hard to call it a non-smoking room when you have to keep it closed up or it fills with smoke. Most expensive breakfast anywhere we stayed. Broken air conditioner meant we had a flood every night and dripping noises, the staff were really nice about fixing it but I feel like we could have had a free breakfast or something to make up for walking around on a wet floor all the time. Because this place was really expensive. Just one piece of soap, no shampoo, one beach towel to share for three days. Very thick comforter which was unusable in the hot French weather. I feel like all this could be fixed easily to make the place twice as nice. So I would go again, because the location is so stunning, but it really could have been better.

Small hotel in a great location. Close to beach, walkable to main part of town. Calonques within easy access.

It was very nice all in all. The position of the air conditioning is not ideal…

Our stay at Jardin d'Emile was delightful. Very quaint and well-appointed boutique hotel. The staff was attentive and helpful. Our room had amazing sea views and was just across the street from one of the beaches. The town of Cassis is beautiful. Although the hotel is not in the main part of town it is a short 10 minute walk.

The room had a large deck overlooking the sea.
Wonderful property. We highly recommend. Great location and great room.

Closest hotel to Calanques Natl Park entrance to hiking trails. Beautiful view of bay & Cliffs to the south.

We stayed here past 2 nights. Really quaint and nice hotel. Comfortable and clean room with a lot of character. Breakfast was simple but of good quality and nice. More coffee could have been offered though. Service was very friendly and the hotel location is excellent, just across from the beach.

A gem of a hotel. Great vibe, wonderful location and very romantic rooms.
